摘要: A door-locking device for a self-cleaning oven includes a support configured to be fixed to a frame of the oven. A main slider is movable relative to the support along a longitudinal rectilinear direction, and is configured to be pushed elastically towards an extracted position and pushed by the door of the oven towards a retracted position. A locking arm is coupled to the support around an articulation axis perpendicular to the longitudinal rectilinear direction and oscillates around the articulation axis between an unlocked position and a locked position. A transmission mechanism connects the locking arm to the main slider and is arranged to swing the locking arm from the unlocked position to the locked position and vice versa via movement of the main slider from the extracted position to the retracted position, and vice versa. An electromagnetic switch includes an electromagnet that drives a movable member associated with a locking pin arranged to lock the main slider in the retracted position.

摘要: A gas fired heating appliance comprising a chassis, a firebox having an interior cavity having a gas burner and an opening communicating the interior of the firebox with an environment external to the appliance, a door for enclosing the opening, and at least one track member. The track member has a retracted position and an elongated extended position, and also has a first end secured to the chassis or the firebox and a second end engaging the door. When in its retracted position the track member positions the door to enclose and seal the opening. When in its extended position the track member retains the door in a position outwardly off-set from the firebox adjacent the opening.

摘要: A wood or other bio mass fueled appliance is disclosed for maximum efficiency and low cost construction for home, garage, workshop, and barn. Comprised of a vertical cylindrical outside shell (12) outside bottom (16) and outside top (14) enclosing an inside shell (24) inside bottom (28) and inside top (26). Inside shell (24) forming a vertical cylindrical chamber (36) accessed by load door (38) and ash door (40), through which disassembled baffles (32) may pass. A suitable means for igniting fuel in chamber (36) and controlling burn rate by draft regulators (42) and fan limit switches (52). Whereby circular baffles (32) elevated by 90° angle shaped supports (30) suppress the flow of flame and exhaust gases from entering flue (22). Exhaust gases and flame pass by gap (50), directing energy toward the inside surface of inside shell (24) inside bottom (28) and inside top (26). Thus maximizing the efficiency of heat transferred from chamber (36) to the air or fluid in space (18) circulated through ducts (20) by blowers/pumps (48) and directed by air deflectors (46) producing economizing results.

摘要: A door with a gas burner on an inner surface and a system for carrying a combustible gas to the burner on the outer surface thereof. The door comprises a pair of metal sheets rigidly connected to one another at the edges thereof, each sheet having input and output openings for the gas mixture that are mutually separated in order to leave an inner space receiving a deflector plate serving as a thermal shield to be swept over on either side by the flow of the gas mixture supplying the burner. This arrangement reduces heat loss through the door; thus, keeping the outer surface cold, avoiding the risk of burns, and preheating the gas mixture. The invention can be used in heating appliances.

摘要: Apparatus and methods are provided for purging an airlock cavity created between the airlock access door and the primary explosion chamber opening sealing mechanism. According to one embodiment of the present invention, an airlock device is used to ensure that, in the event toxins are released from the primary explosion chamber opening sealing means, the toxins are properly handled and are not inadvertently released into the atmosphere. In one embodiment, negative pressure is used to vacuum the entrained air within the airlock cavity subsequent to an explosion. To facilitate the sweeping and exhausting of the cavity, an orifice in the access door may be operable to allow the flow of ambient air through the airlock access door.

摘要: A boiler comprising a water jacket surrounding upper and lower combustion chambers for receiving heat for heating water or other fluid therein. The upper and lower combustion chambers are defined by a refractory structure which extends entirely across the inner casing. A vertical passage through the refractory structure provides for flow of combustion gases from the upper to lower combustion chamber. Oxygen is provided through a first forced air inlet to the upper combustion chamber for burning of wood or biomass in the upper combustion chamber. Oxygen is provided through a forced air passage in the refractory structure and opening into the vertical passage thereby providing at cast one second forced air inlet to the vertical passage for burning of the combustion gases and particulates passing therethrough from the upper combustion chamber. The refractory structure sealingly engages the inner casing in a manner to seal the upper combustion chamber from the lower combustion chamber so that the upper combustion chamber can be made substantially air tight whereby the upper combustion chamber can be pressurized by forced air thereto to effect expulsion of combustion gases and particulates from the upper combustion chamber through the vertical passage for burning thereof. Refractory material in the lower combustion chamber provides refractory surface on which the burning combustion gases and particulates expelled through the vertical passage impinge.
