摘要: A method of operating a tankless water heater for heating a continuous supply of water. The method includes detecting a water flow condition within a heating chamber of the tankless water heater and regulating electrical current to first and second heating elements in response thereto. Both the first and second heating elements are located in the heating chamber, and respectively have first and second wattages, where second wattage is different than the first wattage. The regulating step further includes providing electrical current to the first heating element and not to the second heating element when a first flow condition is detected, and providing electrical current to the second heating element and not the first heating element when a second flow condition is detected, and providing electrical current to both of the heating elements when a third flow condition is detected.

摘要: A water heating system can include a water heater having a tank, an inlet line, and an outlet line, where the inlet line provides unheated water to the tank, and where the outlet line draws heated water from the tank. The water heating system can also include multiple sensing devices, where each sensing device of the plurality of sensing devices measures a parameter associated with the tank. The water heating system can further include a controller communicably coupled to the plurality of sensing devices, where the controller determines an amount of heated water in the tank based on measurements made by the plurality of sensing devices.

摘要: A water heater including a cold water intake, a hot water output, a fluid pathway arranged between the cold water intake and the hot water output and adapted to convey water flowing from the cold water intake to the hot water output. A heating element is adapted to heat water that is in the fluid pathway. A power electronics unit is coupled to the heating element. A controller is configured to regulate a temperature of the water in the fluid pathway to an adjustable hot water temperature by controlling the power electronics unit. A water draw-off detector is adapted to detect a water draw-off event and a water sensor is adapted to determine a reference parameter corresponding to a temperature of the water.

摘要: In an electric water heater having adjustable set point and differential temperatures, upper and lower heating elements, and associated temperature sensors respectively operative to sense upper and lower tank water temperatures, a specially designed control system is provided for controlling the heating elements. The control system is operative to prevent dry firing of the heating elements by measuring temperatures over time with the temperature sensors.

摘要: A temperature sensor securing system and method is described for securing two or more temperature sensors against an outer surface of a side wall of a tank of an electric water heater. The temperature sensors are secured spaced apart on an elongated support such as a circuit board which is held in position against the tank outer surface by support means. An expandable liquid foam causes the temperature sensors to be biased against the outer surface of the tank side wall to sense the temperature of the side wall at the location of the sensors and to generate actual temperature signals to a controller which is programmed to communicate with a subscriber and/or energy provider to control the water temperature inside the tank.

摘要: A device for air conduction heating, which includes: a heating conduit, a temperature detection module and a main control module. An inner cavity of the heating conduit is provided with a separation screen, the separation screen is configured to divide the inner cavity into a smoke chamber and a heating chamber in which a heating device is provided. The temperature detection module includes a first temperature sensor arranged on the smoke chamber and a second temperature sensor arranged on the separation screen. The main control module is electrically connected to the heating device and the temperature detection module respectively, and is configured to adjust a working power of the heating device according to a relationship between a preset temperature threshold temperature and a detection temperature collected by the temperature detection module. The detection temperature includes a temperature of the smoke chamber and a heating temperature.

摘要: The present invention relates to a heat conducting element which comprises a first heat capturing portion configured to be thermally coupled to a heating unit of the heated conveyor pump; a second heat capturing portion configured to be thermally coupled to a medium leading section of a carrier unit of the heated conveyor pump; and at least one measurement portion positioned between the first heat capturing portion and the second heat capturing portion and configured to be thermally coupled to a temperature sensing unit. The first heat capturing portion extends from the measurement portion in a first direction and the second heat capturing portion extends from the measurement portion in a second direction such that the first and second heat capturing portions are arranged on opposite sides of the measurement portion. The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a heat conducting element.

摘要: A water heater and thermostatic control device for a lavatory faucet includes a hot water tank having a reservoir and a heating element disposed within the reservoir, the heating element heats ambient temperature water received by the reservoir to produce hot water, a thermal mixing valve configured to mix hot water received from the hot water tank with ambient temperature water to produce mixed temperature water. The water heater and thermostatic control device also includes a shut off valve configured to permit flow of mixed temperature water to the lavatory faucet, wherein the shut off valve includes a diaphragm and an armature assembly, and wherein the diaphragm is configured to permit air to bleed or vent through the shut off valve when the mixed temperature water is not imparting pressure on the diaphragm.

摘要: A hot water circulation system comprises a water heater having a cold-water inlet and a hot water outlet. A water pump circulates water through the water heater to produce hot water. The hot water is circulated to a thermal bypass valve, which is configured to close when hot water contacts a heat activated seal. A bypass circuit is coupled between the hot water outlet and the cold water inlet of the water heater. The bypass circuit prevents hot water from circulating from the hot water outlet to the cold-water inlet when the thermal bypass valve is open and promotes circulating hot water from the hot water outlet to the cold water inlet when the thermal bypass valve is closed. Upon a temperature sensor sensing hot water entering the cold-water inlet, the water heater turns of the water pump.
