    摘要: A control unit is disclosed for controlling the usage of an electrical device, such as a television. The control unit maintains a plurality of time accounts for a plurality of users. The control unit, responsive to receiving a request to operate the electrical device from a user, identifies a time account for the user and begins decrementing time from the time account for the user when the electrical device is turned on. The control unit decrements time from the time account based on one or more desired algorithms. The algorithms as disclosed herein cause the control unit to continue decrementing time from the time account of the user even after the electrical device is shut off.

    摘要: Proposed is an earth leakage breaker having a built-in trip module type circuit breaker, which is installed at a line between a power supply and a load and has a trip module configured to cut the line off, the earth leakage breaker including: a CT installed on the line and configured to monitor an instantaneous current; and a control circuit unit comprising: an operation module configured to receive an instantaneous current sensed by the CT, to measure an instantaneous current value per unit time, and to calculate a slope of the instantaneous current per unit time; a determination module configured to determine a case as an overload state, the case having the slope exceeding an overcurrent determination value A, and to cause an overload state determination signal to be output; and an output module configured to output a trip module actuation signal according to the overload state determination signal of the determination module and to cut off the line, and accordingly, the earth leakage breaker causes the trip module to be actuated according to an instantaneous current slope.

    摘要: A machine includes first and second electrically actuated components and a shutdown circuit electrically interconnected therewith. The shutdown circuit has a current sense relay element which is electrically connected to the first electrically actuated machine component. The current sense relay element includes a coil capable of generating a magnetic field in response to direct current flowing therethrough and a reed switch adjacent the coil which is movable between open and closed positions in response to the presence of the magnetic field. The reed switch is normally closed when the direct current flowing to the first electrically actuated machine component is at or above a predetermined level. The reed switch opens when the direct current flowing to the first electrically actuated machine component falls below the predetermined level. The shutdown circuit also includes a shutdown relay element electrically connected to the current sense relay element and the second electrically actuated machine component so that when the direct current flow falls below the predetermined level, the current sense relay element the shutdown relay element are opened and the first and second electrically actuated machine components are shutdown.
