摘要: A lithium ion secondary battery according to the present disclosure includes: an electrode assembly; and a case having a structure in which upper stamped portions and lower stamped portions are repeatedly stamped to cover the outside of the electrode assembly, and the upper stamped portions and the lower stamped portions form a corrugated pattern, and the electrode assembly includes: one or more unit cells each equipped with a pair of electrodes having different polarities with a separator interposed therebetween; an electrode mixture coated on one or both surfaces of the pair of electrodes; and electrode tabs protruded from the respective electrodes and not coated with the electrode mixture, and the electrode tabs include an electrode parallel connection tab and an electrode lead connection tab, and any one or more of the electrode parallel connection tab and the electrode lead connection tab is formed on the electrodes, and an elastic polymer film is overlapped on a local portion in the case.

摘要: A charging method for a secondary battery including a lithium-supplementing material. The method includes acquiring a first state of health of the secondary battery in response to the secondary battery being at a preset charging node, activating the lithium-supplementing material in response to the first state of health being less than or equal to a first threshold to supplement lithium for the secondary battery, performing a charging process on the secondary battery, determining a second state of health of the secondary battery based on a working parameter of the secondary battery in the charging process, and charging the secondary battery in response to the second state of health being greater than a second threshold.

摘要: A cell module includes a plurality of battery cells each having a safety valve at a first end in a height direction, a first current collector plate including a main body having a through hole that at least partly overlaps the safety valve when viewed along the height direction and a lead extending into the through hole from the main body and being electrically connected to a first terminal of each of the battery cells, an exhaust duct disposed over a surface of the first current collector plate remote from the battery cells, and an insulating film being made of an insulating material and covering an area of the first current collector plate facing the exhaust duct. The safety valve opens when an internal pressure of any of the battery cells reaches or exceeds a predetermined level.

摘要: A battery-operated electronic device, such as, e.g., a continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) transmitter, has a switch disconnect circuit that reduces battery discharge while the device is stored and/or in “shelf mode.” The device has two externally-accessible activation pads each configured to contact a same electrical conductor positioned in packaging for the device that causes the switch disconnect circuit to disconnect the battery from device electronics while the device is in the packaging. Upon removal of the device from the packaging, the two activation pads no longer contact the electrical conductor, causing the switch disconnect circuit to automatically connect the battery to the device electronics. Methods of reducing battery discharge in a battery-operated electronic device and other aspects are also described.

摘要: This application relates to the technical field of energy storage devices, and in particular, to a device, a battery pack, and a battery module. The battery module includes a battery cell and an insulation board. The insulation board includes a body portion and a first bulge. The first bulge includes a sidewall and a top wall that close in to form an accommodation cavity. At least a part of an electrode terminal is accommodated in the accommodation cavity, and the top wall covers a part of the electrode terminal, thereby reducing a risk of letting metal particles or other impurities enter a position between the battery cells, where the metal particles are generated during welding. This reduces difficulty of cleaning the battery module, and improves safety and reliability of the battery module.
