摘要: A method compensates for leakage currents in a protective conductor of an electrical power converter. The method includes: using a first differential current sensor for determining a differential current depending on a phase conductor current in a phase conductor and a neutral conductor current in a neutral conductor; feeding a compensation current into the phase conductor and/or into the neutral conductor via a first compensation circuit; using a second differential current sensor for capturing a signal representing remaining residual leakage current; converting the signal representing the residual leakage current to a frequency domain; generating a compensation signal for the residual leakage current in a frequency-selective manner; converting the compensation signal to a time domain; supplying the converted compensation signal converted to the first compensation circuit or a second compensation circuit; and feeding a residual compensation current corresponding to the compensation signal into the phase conductor(s) and/or into the neutral conductor.

Provided are: a calculation unit that performs signal processing; a first power supply circuit that supplies a first power supply voltage to the calculation unit; and a second power supply circuit that supplies a second power supply voltage to the first power supply circuit. The calculation unit has a function of outputting a control signal when a change in a consumed current of the calculation unit exceeds a predetermined threshold, and changes any one or both of a control scheme of the first power supply circuit and the second power supply voltage according to the control signal.

摘要: Circuits and methods for selectable conversion ratio power converters that include low-dropout (LDO) power supplies adapted to select voltage inputs based on the selected conversion ratio while achieving high efficiency. The LDO power supplies limit current through power FETs of power converters, thereby mitigating or eliminating potentially damaging events. In some embodiments, first and second full gate-drive LDOs have “wired-OR” outputs which may power a target circuit such as a pre-driver (and optionally, a level-shifter) coupled to the gate of a power FET. In some embodiments, first and second reduced gate-drive LDOs have “wired-OR” outputs that may power a final driver coupled to the gate of a power FET. Some embodiments have dual full gate-drive LDOs that power a target circuit such as a pre-driver (and optionally, a level-shifter), while dual reduced gate-drive LDOs that power a final driver coupled to the gate of the power FET.

摘要: A device is configured to detect a zero voltage switching (ZVS) circuit output that includes a hard switching signal. The hard switching signal includes a false signal and a spike signal. Thereafter, the device generates digital pulse signals that correspond to the false signal and the spike signal. Accordingly, the device filters the generated digital pulse signal that corresponds to the false signal, and uses the digital pulse signal that corresponds to the spike signal for adjusting a timing of a pulse width modulation (PWM) switching cycle.

The converter comprises: N switch units, wherein each phase of the N-phase power converter comprises one of the N switch units; and an integrated inductor unit, comprising M inductor subunits, wherein M is a natural number greater than or equal to 2, each inductor subunit comprises i inductors, i is a natural number greater than or equal to 2, N>M×i or N=M×i, M×i of the inductors in the integrated inductor unit are respectively coupled to M×i of the N switch units, wherein: the i inductors of each of the inductor subunit are inverse-coupled to each other, the coupling coefficient between the M inductor subunits is less than the coupling coefficient between the i inductors in each of the inductor subunits.

摘要: A control circuit for a power converter comprising switching transistors and an output inductor is disclosed. One terminal of the output inductor serves as an output node, and another terminal of the output inductor serves as a switching node. The control circuit is configured to generate a control signal for controlling switching transistors in the power converter. The control circuit includes: a RC oscillator network connected to two terminals of the output inductor, the RC oscillator network configured to generate an oscillation signal containing a feedback ramp slope compensation component in response to a change in a voltage across the terminals of the output inductor; a comparator; an on-time generation circuit; and a control signal generation circuit to generate the control signal for controlling the switching transistors in the power converter.

Accordingly, a power conversion device and a control device of the power conversion device are provided in which the generation of an overcurrent can be suppressed even when a voltage-controlled operation is performed.

The method is applied to a bridge switch circuit having at least one bridge arm which has an upper switch transistor and a lower switch transistor, and includes: detecting whether an original comparison value of a modulated wave in a current cycle is in a preset narrow pulse interval of the upper switch transistor, and if so, determining an adjustment interval of the upper switch transistor to which the original comparison value of the modulated wave currently pertains; and adjusting the original comparison value of the modulated wave to an adjusted comparison value of the modulated wave corresponding to the adjustment interval of the upper switch transistor to which the original comparison value of the modulated wave currently pertains according to a corresponding relationship between adjustment intervals of the upper switch transistor and adjusted comparison values of the modulated wave.
