The chabazite (CHA) zeolite having an SAR of from 7 to 15, and at least one following features: (a) a mesoporous surface area of less than 35 m2 (b) a BET surface area of 500-800 m2/g; and/or (c) a micropore volume of 0.2-0.3 cm2/g.

摘要: A system for removing methane oxidation catalyst (MOC) poisons from an exhaust gas including a methane abatement unit that may receive the exhaust gas having methane (CH4)and the MOC poisons. The methane abatement unit includes a guard bed that may remove the MOC poisons from the exhaust gas and may generate an intermediate exhaust gas having the CH4 and devoid of the MOC poisons. The guard bed includes a MOC poisons capturing component having a first transition metal oxide, an aluminum oxide (Al2O3) support material, and a dolomite-derived support material. The methane abatement unit also includes a MOC bed fluidly coupled to and positioned downstream from the guard bed. The MOC bed includes a MOC and may remove CH4 from the intermediate exhaust gas to generate a treated exhaust gas having less than approximately 200 parts per million volume (ppmv) CH4.

摘要: The present invention is directed to address the following problem: in an exhaust gas purification catalyst comprising a dual catalyst of a combination of a startup catalyst and an underfloor catalyst, reduction in the gas diffusivity of the underfloor catalyst results in reduction in the use efficiency of a catalytic active site, resulting in reduction in purification performance. The present invention relates to an exhaust gas purification catalyst comprising a dual catalyst of a combination of a startup catalyst and an underfloor catalyst having a catalyst coating where a large number of voids are included, wherein high-aspect-ratio pores having an aspect ratio of 5 or more account for a certain rate or more of the whole volume of the voids, to thereby enhance the purification performance of the catalyst.

摘要: When the amount of coating is increased in a two-layer catalyst or the like containing two noble metals in respective different layers, gas diffusivity in the catalyst and use efficiency of a catalytic active site are reduced to thereby reduce purification performance. In view of this, an organic fiber having a predetermined shape is used as a pore-forming material in formation of an uppermost catalyst coating layer of a multi-layer catalyst, to thereby form an uppermost catalyst coating layer having a high-aspect-ratio pore excellent in connectivity and therefore excellent gas diffusivity.

摘要: Described is a selective catalytic reduction material comprising a spherical particle including an agglomeration of crystals of a molecular sieve. The catalyst is a crystalline material that is effective to catalyze the selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides in the presence of a reductant at temperatures between 200° C. and 600° C. A method for selectively reducing nitrogen oxides and an exhaust gas treatment system are also described.
