Abstract:
A showerhead assembly includes a vessel having an upper surface which defines an edge which connects to a lower surface. Water partially flows about the edge and generally focuses the water about the lower surface until the surface tension is overcome and the water falls or breaks from the edge and lower surface to provide a random release of the water onto the bather to provide a significant waterfall effect with a relatively large quantity of water.
Abstract:
A combination water feature and writing board has a front displaying a flow of water, and a number of movable writing board segments. These segments can be moved between a stored position in which the segments are stored behind the water feature, and an deployed position in which the segments cover the front of the water feature to provide a writing surface.
Abstract:
A spout which can effect a waterfall in the form of a sheet of water in conjunction with the recirculation of bathing water is described. An accumulator with a baffle structure receives the recirculating bathing water to place it in a quiescent state before passage from the spout. In a preferred embodiment, there is a whirlpool basin which receives bathing water from the spout as well as body spray nozzles which also receive recirculating water from the basin.
Abstract:
A natural waterfall is simulated by introducing water into an inlet box that includes a spreader for dividing the incoming stream into two laterally flowing streams that are reflected off the sidewalls of the inlet box and which collide against each other to suppress the turbulence of the incoming stream in the absence of baffle walls. The inlet box has an outlet in open communication with an outlet box through which the water flows to create the waterfall. In a second embodiment, an open-faced structure includes a back wall, side walls, and a bottom wall, and the waterfall apparatus is positioned against the back wall so that its outlet faces the open front end of the structure. Rocks are then added to fill the structure. The walls of the structure constrain the water to flow down the face of the rocks. This enables a rock waterfall to be built by inexperienced personnel.
Abstract:
A writing instrument or an applicator of the invention is constructed of: a shaft sleeve main body having an application liquid reservoir therein; and an application member provided in a front end of the shaft sleeve main body to receive a liquid supplied from the liquid reservoir. The shaft sleeve main body comprises: an ink conduit member provided with a large-diameter piston portion, and a rod element which projects forward from the piston portion and is smaller in diameter than the piston portion while provided with a communication-hole; a cylinder member for slidably receiving the ink conduit member means for moving the cylinder member along the axial line of the shaft sleeve main body; means for biasing both the cylinder member and the ink conduit member so as to be separated from each other; and a hole for the application member, connected to a front end portion of said ink conduit member, which front end portion projects from the cylinder member.
Abstract:
A spray booth is equipped with an air-exhaust system and a highvolume low-pressure water circulating system moving the water from a settling sump to troughs supplying water-curtain panels providing water screens along lines of drainage. The water is pumped by a water lift open to local atmospheric pressure. The configuration of the booth provides for accepting spray gun equipment in the form of replaceable modules. One form of these modules includes a spray gun carriage having a linear path of movement induced by a differential chain drive.
Abstract:
A barrier film composite includes a film with an undulating surface; and at least one decoupling layer and at least one barrier layer disposed on the undulating surface of the film.
Abstract:
A product housing for use with a vacuum breaker, a solid product dispenser, and a solid product having a bottom surface comprises a product holder, an overflow outlet, and a flood plane. The product holder has a bottom and is configured and arranged to receive the solid product with the bottom surface proximate the bottom. The bottom of the product holder is positioned proximate above the solid product dispenser and proximate below the vacuum breaker. The overflow outlet is proximate the bottom, and the flood plane is proximate the overflow outlet.
Abstract:
A spraying head for a granulating installation includes a slotted nozzle in which a nozzle channel having an oblong cross-section of flow is limited downwards by a floor surface, upwards by a top surface and laterally by a side face on each side. An oblong flow control body in the nozzle channel extends axially between the two side faces to limit the height of a nozzle slot. The control body is pivoted about a longitudinal axis to adjust the height of the nozzle slot. The control body is a cylindrical body having an oval cross-section and a central axis which is approximately centrically disposed between the floor surface and the top surface and pivoted about its central axis, such that underneath as well as below the control body a nozzle slot is formed, the height of which can be adjusted by pivoting the control body about its central axis.
