    摘要: A plant for immersion treatment of vehicle bodies may include: at least one skid configured to support a body; at least one process liquid tank; and/or a conveyor line configured to convey the at least one skid above the at least one process liquid tank. The at least one skid may include base and support parts. The support part may be supported on the base part using a rotatable shaft, so that the support part is rotatable between a first position, in which the body is not immersed in the at least one process liquid tank, and a second position for immersing the body in the at least one process liquid tank. The at least one skid may include a toothed wheel connected to the rotatable shaft for controlled rotation. The at least one skid may include a controllable locking/unlocking device configured to lock/unlock free rotation of the rotatable shaft.

    摘要: A finishing system includes a workpiece carrier configured to hold a workpiece, and a plurality of work stations arranged in a row along an axis defining a process line, each of the plurality of work stations configured to receive the workpiece and treat the workpiece. A hoist runway, including fixed and movable rail sections, extends along the plurality of work stations of the process line. A hoist is movable along the hoist runway to traverse the plurality of work stations, the hoist coupled to the workpiece carrier to raise and lower the workpiece carrier and to move the workpiece carrier along the process line. A side transfer mechanism moves the movable rail section, with the hoist situated thereon, in a direction transverse to the axis so that the hoist is movable out of the process line.

A self-adjusting conveyor includes a table top containing a conveyor belt, legs arranged to support the table top, an adjustment fixture arranged to adjust the table top to a working height, and a controller to return the table top to a home height upon activation.

    摘要: An installation for treating articles, especially vehicle bodies, comprises at least one treatment zone, in particular a bath containing a treatment liquid, into which the articles are introduced. The articles are conveyed through the installation in a continuous or intermittent translational movement. To this end, the installation comprises at least two transport carriages combined to form a pair, which in turn each comprise a running gear and at least one swivel arm, which is connected to the respective running gear so as to be swivellable about a first pivot pin and with which a supporting structure for the article to be treated is connected so as to be swivellable about a second pivot pin. The unit includes the two transport carriages effecting a correlated movement actually has six degrees of freedom of motion, wherein drives are provided for at least three of these degrees of freedom of motion.

    摘要: In a semiconductor-device fabrication method, a plurality of recessed portions are first formed in the principal surface of a substrate. Then, a through hole, passing through the substrate in the front-to-back direction of the substrate, is formed under a portion of the bottom of each recessed portion in the substrate. Subsequently, a plurality of semiconductor elements in the form of chips are spread in a liquid, and the semiconductor-element-spread liquid is poured over the principal surface of the substrate, while passing the liquid through the through holes, so that the semiconductor elements fit into the recessed portions in a self-aligned manner. In this way, the semiconductor elements are disposed into the recessed portions in the substrate in a self-aligned manner.

    摘要: The invention discloses a transporting apparatus having a transport member provided with a air-supplying-type support portion for supplying purified air toward a lower surface of a transported object to contactlessly support the transported object, and a drive force application portion for contacting a lower surface of the transported object that is supported by the air-supplying-type support means and applying a drive force in the transporting direction to the transported object. The transporting apparatus, by raising and lowering the drive force application portion and the air-supplying-type support portion relative to one another, can be switched between a transport state where the drive force application portion is brought into contact with the lower surface of the transported object, and a transfer state where the drive force application portion is moved downward away from the transported object that is supported by the air-supplying-type support portion. The transporting apparatus is provided with a loading portion that can receive and support the transported object and that can be moved in a horizontal direction that intersects the transporting direction and in the vertical direction. The loading portion, in the transfer state, can be inserted in the horizontal direction into the space below the transported object.
