A curable coating composition is disclosed comprising a resinous binder comprising (a) a reaction product of an epoxy-containing polymer with a compound containing phosphorus acid groups, the reaction product having reactive functional groups, and (b) a curing agent having functional groups reactive with the functional groups of (a). An electroconductive pigment is dispersed in (a) such that the weight ratio of the electroconductive pigment to (a) plus (b) is within the range of 0.5 to 9.0:1. When the curable coating composition is deposited and cured on a metal substrate, the cured coating is weldable.

According to the present invention, there is provided a rubber composition for a conveyor belt comprising (A) 100 parts by weight of an ethylene/&agr;-olefin containing 3 to 20 carbon atoms/non-conjugated polyene copolymer rubber containing a diene unit derived from special non-conjugated dienes, (B) 0.5 to 15 parts by weight of an organic peroxide, (C) 30 to 80 parts by weight of a carbon black and (D) 5 to 25 parts by weight of a softening agent. This rubber composition provides excellent mechanical strength, heat resistance (including heat aging resistance), abrasion resistance and roll processability. It is especially preferred to convey a sintered product, a coke, a cement, clinker and quicklime.
Abstract:
Resin composition and precision sliding parts are proposed. The resin composition includes a modified polyphenylene ether resin as a main component, a fibrous reinforcing agent, and a solid lubricant comprising tetrafluoroethyelene and graphite in the amount of 2-30 volume %. The modified polyphenylene ether resin is prepared by blending a polystyrene-family resin with a polyphenylele ether resin. The ratio of the tetrafluoroethylene resin and the graphite is 1:1 to 1:5. The fibrous reinforcing agent is glass fiber or carbon fiber. The fibrous reinforcing material is orientated such that the angle of fiber axis is not more than 30 degrees with respect to the sliding surface. The fibrous reinforcing material is a fibrous reinforcing material having a fiber diameter of 10 &mgr;m or less.
Abstract:
A waterborne coating composition for application to a donor member surface includes a resin binder, a conductive particle material, an additional particle material of either (1) graphite particles with a dispersant of polyacrylamide, polyethylene oxide, polyvinyl alcohol or mixtures thereof or (2) crosslinked polymer particles, and water. The waterborne coating composition exhibits superior stability and achieves suitable properties when coated upon a donor member surface, thereby permitting practical replacement of volatile organic components typically used in donor member coating compositions.
