摘要: A visible light sensor may be configured to sense environmental characteristics of a space using an image of the space. The visible light sensor may be controlled in one or more modes, including a daylight glare sensor mode, a daylighting sensor mode, a color sensor mode, and/or an occupancy/vacancy sensor mode. In the daylight glare sensor mode, the visible light sensor may be configured to decrease or eliminate glare within a space. In the daylighting sensor mode and the color sensor mode, the visible light sensor may be configured to provide a preferred amount of light and color temperature, respectively, within the space. In the occupancy/vacancy sensor mode, the visible light sensor may be configured to detect an occupancy/vacancy condition within the space and adjust one or more control devices according to the occupation or vacancy of the space. The visible light sensor may be configured to protect the privacy of users within the space via software, a removable module, and/or a special sensor.

The air conditioner includes a display, a storage configured to store power consumption information and time information which are required to increase or decrease an indoor temperature by a unit temperature according to an outdoor temperature, a sensor, and a processor configured to predict, based on a desired temperature being input, at least one of a power consumption or a required time for the indoor temperature to reach the desired temperature by the sensor based on information stored in the storage, and provide at least one of the predicted power consumption or the required time through the display.

摘要: A ventilation fan includes a body unit, which has a fan disposed in a body case and a fan controller operable to control an air volume of the fan. The ventilation fan also includes a sensor module having an indoor environment detecting sensor and a module controller operable to control a detecting operation of the indoor environment detecting sensor. The body unit has a module mount on which the sensor module is mounted and another sensor module can be mounted in place of the sensor module. The module mount is connected to the fan controller. The module controller outputs detection information obtained based on a detection result of the indoor environment detecting sensor to the fan controller, which in turn controls the air volume of the fan based on the detection information inputted thereto.

摘要: A visible light sensor (VLS) may be configured to sense environmental characteristics using images of a space. 摘要: Techniques are described for generating power from airflow powered smart vents associated with security and automation systems. One method includes monitoring a rate of airflow through an air vent in a centralized heating and cooling system, generating, at a sensor at the air vent, power based at least in part on the rate of airflow through the air vent, storing the generated power in the sensor at the air vent, providing the stored power to one or more motors associated with the sensor at the air vent, and utilizing the stored power to perform communication between the sensor at the air vent and a control panel of the home automation system, wherein the control panel is located at a location different from a location of the sensor.

摘要: In some examples, a computing device may receive an indication that a first user and a second user are located in a zone of an interior space or other surrounding environment. Settings of one or more controllable devices may be controlled based on user profiles including implicit or explicit user preferences, such as for controlling lighting, ambient temperature, entertainment, security, etc., in the zone. When there is conflict between the user preferences, the conflict may be resolved, such as by determining a hierarchy between the users, by averaging the preferred settings, or based on other techniques. Further, a portable computing device may be associated with a user and may provide sensor information. The sensor information may include biometric sensor information that is indicative of a bodily condition of the user and that can be used for determining a context of the user or the zone.

A correction factor is accessed from a computer-readable medium based on the status of the light. A measured temperature is received via the temperature sensor. The measured temperature is transformed based on the correction factor, and the transformed temperature is transmitted from the light to a remote location.

摘要: A system and method for optimizing energy consumption in a plurality of air handling units (AHUs) in a zone is provided. The system comprising a zone thermal unit that is configured to obtain a first set of input parameters including an internal heat gains, a surface convective loads, an intra-zone mixing, a supply air temperature, a second set of input parameters including internal moisture gains, a supply humidity ratio, and a third set of input parameters including an air contaminant concentration and an ambient contaminant concentration of the AHUs and generates a first set of output parameters including a zone temperature, a humidity ratio and an air concentration. The system further includes an optimizer that is configured to generate a second set of output parameters including an optimum combination of AHU flow rates for the AHUs based on at least one of the first set of output parameters.
