Abstract: A control method according to the present disclosure is performed by a control device for use in remotely monitoring mobile bodies each of which autonomously performs a task, and includes: receiving, from a first mobile body included in the mobile bodies, a remote support request indicating a request for remote operation support; identifying a second mobile body different from the first mobile body; obtaining first and second task information about first and second tasks being performed by the first and second mobile bodies, and calculating priorities of the first and second tasks based on the first and second task information; and when the priority of the first task is lower than that of the second task, transmitting, to the first mobile body, a first control command for remotely operating the first mobile body without hindering the second mobile body from performing the second task.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided that may to cause autonomous navigation of autonomous vehicles in the case of non-standard traffic flows such as police stops, emergency vehicle passing, construction sites, vehicle collision sites, and other non-standard road conditions. An entity associated with the non-standard traffic flow (e.g., an emergency vehicle, road sign, barrier, etc.) may transmit or broadcast a control signal to be received (or otherwise detected) at one or more autonomous vehicles. Each autonomous vehicle, upon receiving the control signal, may autonomously navigate in accordance with the control signal, thus mitigating or eliminating dangers associated with non-standard traffic flows.

Abstract: A user device, that is remote from a combine harvester, receives setting information, indicative of a set of settings on the combine harvester. A display controller controls a display device on the remote computing system to display an interface showing the combine harvester settings, along with an adjustment actuator. A settings adjustment input is received through the settings adjustment actuator on the displayed interface. A settings adjustment message is generated, and a communication system on the remote computing system is controlled to send the settings adjustment message to the combine. A verification notification is received at the remote computing system, showing the adjusted settings on the combine.

Abstract: An operation system performs autonomous operation by using an operation server for an autonomous driving vehicle. The operation server includes a memory unit containing three-dimensional map data. An autonomous driving vehicle connects to the operation server via a wireless network. A vehicle control unit creates a traveling route based on the map data received and, when an elevator of a building is to be used, creates elevator usage information and elevator control information, including the boarding and exiting floors. The elevator is equipped with an elevator control unit that is connected to the operation server to control ascending and descending of an elevator cage. A control unit of the autonomous driving vehicle transmits the elevator usage information and the elevator control information to the elevator control unit. The elevator control unit gives a voice announcement from a voice output unit in the elevator cage.
