    摘要: An antenna system and a corresponding method for satellite lock-on applied to vehicles automatically lock on at least one satellite in the space by means of a lock-on signal. The technique features on a scan driving signal that initiates a space scan of the antenna system so as to obtain a scan data. According to peak values of the scan data, coordinates of a plurality of satellites in the space are realized and individually recorded. Then, after receiving a lock-on signal, the satellite coordinate of the satellite to be locked is retrieved so as to drive the antenna to point at the satellite to be locked.

    摘要: A calibration method suitable for highly precise and highly accurate surface metrology measurements is described. In preferred embodiments, an optical inspection tool including a movable optics system is characterized in terms of position and wavelength dependent quantities over a range of motion. Once the position-dependant quantities are determined at various wavelengths and positions, they are stored and used to interpret data from test wafers having an unknown metrology. Free of position-dependent variations and other information pertaining to the measurement system, the accuracy of the resulting wafer measurement more closely matches the precision of the tool than existing techniques. In particular embodiments, a portion of the characterization of the optical system is accomplished by using tilted black glass to provide a non-reflective reference.

A method of making the wafer retaining apparatus may comprise the steps of depositing electrode layers over molten, drawn sapphire layers to form a unitary bipolar electrostatic chuck having a gap fill electrode spaced between a pair of bipolar chucking electrodes and an RF powered electrode and radially coincident with the gap between the bipolar chucking electrodes.
