    摘要: An external cathode terminal (16) is adhered to one surface of a capacitor element while a prepreg (25) is adhered to another surface of the capacitor element. A reinforcement plate (26) is adhered to the prepreg. Heat and pressure are applied to the external cathode terminal, the prepreg, and the reinforcement plate to elute thermosetting resin from the prepreg in the side of the capacitor element, thereby sealing the side of the capacitor element with eluted material (27A, 27B). Inasmuch as transfer molding is not used as exterior package, the element never deforms by injection pressure of resin. It is possible to thin by a thickness of exterior package resin. Inasmuch as eluted thermosetting resin does not include a mold release agent, it has good adhesion for the external cathode terminal.

    摘要: A feed-through capacitor has layers of dielectric material and a first hole that passes through the layers of dielectric material for receiving an electrical conductor connected to the filter capacitor. First, second and third electrodes are disposed between layers of the dielectric material and extend in a first direction substantially perpendicular to a centerline of the first hole. The third electrodes are disposed intermediate the first and second electrodes. Any one of the first, second and third electrodes is non-overlapping with any of another of the first, second and third electrodes in a direction substantially parallel to the centerline of the first hole. A filtering capacitor is formed substantially wholly by fringe-effect capacitance between the first and third electrodes, and a coupling capacitor is formed substantially wholly by fringe-effect capacitance between the second and third electrodes. The filtering and coupling are electrically connected in series.

    摘要: A lead-through type filter used in a dc line for removing noises is disclosed. The lead-through type filter having angular elements according to the present invention includes a case 25 to be used as an external grounding terminal. A central conductive line 21 supplies a dc power and serves as IN/OUT terminals. At least one angular filtering element made of an angular ceramic stock is accommodated within the case. One side electrode is attached on a face of the ceramic stock and is electrically connected to the case 25. Another side electrode is attached on another face of the ceramic stock and is electrically connected to the central conductive line 21. An epoxy resin is filled into the interior of the case 25. Instead of the conventional lead-through type capacitor, polygonal capacitors are used in the present invention, and therefore, the capacitance control becomes easy, while the errors can be minimized. Further, the voltage withstanding characteristic is improved, and the workability is also improved during the manufacture.

An inductor having a metallized surface is disposed about the conductor, and a capacitor is joined to the inductor. Another set of capacitor plates are electrically connected to a second conductive contact to provide a connection to the feedthrough conductor. A method of providing such a filter is also disclosed.

An insulative sleeve has a first portion closely received within the feed-through aperture and closely receiving the intermediate portion of the feed-through member and has a second elongated portion extending externally from the housing and closely receiving at least a portion of the external portion of the conductor element, so that only a remaining portion of the conductor element is exposed, and is spaced apart from the housing by the length of the second elongated portion.

    摘要: Disclosed is a capacitor for effectively shielding noise generated from a magnetron. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a case of the capacitor is combined with a ground plate in order that electrode insulation pipes integrally formed in the case extend through extending pipes mounted in the ground plate. Electrodes respectively extend through the electrode insulation pipes. A fixing cover is inserted through an upper opening of the case into the case to be disposed over the electrode insulation pipes, of which a fixing pipe extends through the case so as to come in contact with a screwed hole formed in the ground plate. The extending pipes respectively prevent unnecessary microwave noise generated from the magnetron. A length of the extending pipe is preferably in a range of 5 to 15 mm. Furthermore, the extending pipe and the electrode are made such that a sum of radiuses of the extending pipe and the electrode is less than 5 mm.
