Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide an antenna apparatus and an electronic device. The antenna apparatus is provided with a non-resonant unit and a feed unit, to respectively feed a radiation unit and a non-resonant unit. Through feeding power distribution design, the non-resonant unit can assist in exciting a floor characteristic mode. In addition, since a size of the non-resonant unit is much smaller than an electrical length required for resonance of an antenna on this frequency band, the non-resonant unit does not generate a resonance curve on a resonance curve and has no resonance point, to improve radiation efficiency of the antenna without generating new resonance, so as to improve a use effect of a user.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, an antenna device includes a feeding portion, first and second wire-like metal portions, third and fourth plate-like metal portions and a fifth metal portion. One ends of the first and second wire-like metal portions are connected to the feeding portion. The third and fourth plate-like metal portions are respectively connected to the other ends of the first and second metal portions and disposed separately from each other with a predetermined distance therebetween. The fifth metal portion is configured to connect the third metal portion to the fourth metal portion. A total electrical length of the first to fifth metal portions is 3/2 wavelength at operating frequency band.

Abstract: An array antenna is provided with a plurality of radiating patches, wherein each of the patches, operates in one frequency band along one direction and in a different frequency band along a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The signals from each radiating patch are coupled to two delay lines, which traverse over a variable dielectric constant plate. A voltage potential is controllably applied to each delay line to change the dielectric constant of the VDC plate in the vicinity of that delay line, thereby introducing delay in signal travel. In order to isolate the voltage potential from the two orthogonal delay lines applied to each radiating patch, at least one of the delay lines is connected to a coupling patch, which capacitively couples the RF energy to the radiating patch.

In this way, the RRU, via the first and second sets of antenna arrays, may be configured for simultaneous use with different frequency bands.
