摘要: Animal dental hygienic device, comprising: A hollow body having an exterior surface and an interior cavity, and being sized to fit within the mouth of the animal and to be bitten thereby. The hollow body having a plurality of apertures positioned along its exterior surface, the apertures extending from the exterior surface to the interior cavity. Each aperture having dental-hygienically active dimensions allowing an animal's tooth to penetrate through the aperture; such that (i) material surrounding the aperture frictionally engages the animal's tooth's outer surface during penetration of the aperture by the tooth, the material surrounding the aperture being of sufficient hardness to scrape the tooth's outer surface during frictional engagement to remove dental plaque, and (ii) a portion of the animal's tooth extends within the interior cavity during penetration of the aperture by the tooth.

摘要: A system for automatically sensing, monitoring, and analyzing livestock to provide age verification and relative vigor metrics. The system generally includes a tag attachable to a livestock, a location detector, and a data processor. The tag senses livestock motion and produces first data indicative of a physical parameter. The location detector senses livestock location and produces second data indicative of the physical parameter. The data processor receives and stores a first aggregation of data of the same type as the first data and a second aggregation of data of the same type as the second data for a plurality of other livestock. The data processor statistically analyzes the first data and second data in relation to the first and second aggregations of data and generates an indication of the age and a relative vigor metric of the livestock.

摘要: Probiotic compositions that comprise one or more bacteria species in spore form, a thickener to form a stabilized suspension and to preferably act as a prebiotic, one or more acids or salts of acids, and optionally a water activity reducer. A system for delivering probiotic compositions by gravity feed or non-contact pump to a point of consumption by a plant or animal, preferably in conjunction with acidified drinking water, comprising a collapsible container with attachable tubing that prevent contamination of the probiotic composition within the container. Delivery may be actuated in response to a timer, motion detector, fluid level sensor, RFID tag, or other mechanism to periodically or continuously dispense a dosage of probiotic composition directly to the soil surrounding a plant or to the water or feed for an animal. A method for increasing beneficial bacteria in an animal's GIT comprises adding probiotics to acidified drinking water.

摘要: A system and method for animal monitoring is disclosed. The system comprises a bolus communicatively coupled to a plurality of wireless transponder and a wireless network with a base station in communication with the plurality of wireless transponder. The bolus comprises of a plurality of sensor to measure animal characteristic at a pre-configured sampling/polling rate, a processing unit, a memory unit, a clock unit, a transceiver unit and a plurality of antenna unit. The method comprises at least one of the plurality of sensor detecting/identifying a variation in animal characteristic. The processing unit using the memory unit and the real time clock unit is configured to change the corresponding pre-configured sampling/polling rate of the at least one of the plurality of sensor automatically depending on rate of variation in the animal characteristic. The transceiver unit is configured to communicate the automatic changes in pre-configured sampling/polling rate to the plurality of wireless transponder.
