    摘要: A reservoir assembly (40) comprises a container (4), a support assembly (42) on which the container (4) is mounted and fixed and a rotary electric vibrator device (44) coupled to the support assembly (42). The container holds a shear thinning additive for a plastics material. The reservoir assembly is arranged so that on operation of the device (44), an appropriate frequency and amplitude of vibration is applied to the container (4) and, therefore, its contents. As a result, a liquid dispersion in the container is shear thinned and recovery of dispersion from the container is increased.

    摘要: An air cleaning system has a field charger comprising a plurality of bars comprising a conductive inner core and a non-conductive overmold, and a plurality of pins attached to the bars and extending out of the non-conductive overmold. The conductive inner core is molded over the plurality of pins, conductively connecting the pins, and the non-conductive overmold is molded over the conductive inner core. A method of manufacturing the field charger includes placing a plurality of metal pins in a mold, placing contact points in the mold, molding a conductive resin over at least a portion of the plurality of pins and contact points, molding an insulating resin over the inner core, plurality of pins, and contact points, wherein at least a portion of the pins and contact points extend from the non-conductive overmold, and mounting an earthplate to the conductive overmold.

    摘要: A material handling and mold filling system is provided which directs the flow of molten plastic material from an extruder and allocates the molten material to a plurality of nozzles through the use of independently operated, variable valves. The system therefore provides independent streams of molten plastic material having variable temperatures and flow rates or volumes to particular sections or regions of the mold. This independent temperature or flow of molten plastic material facilitates the complete, rapid and accurate filling of the molds, reducing turbulence and other temperature or flow-related imperfections in the finished components. A multiphase material handling system is also disclosed for expeditious sequential and simultaneous filling and pressing of the mold and extracting the completed component from the system.
