摘要: A method for producing a polyurethane elastic fiber according to the present invention contains the steps of: [1] producing a polyurethane urea polymer (A) having a number average molecular weight ranging from 12,000 to 50,000, and represented by general formula (1); [2] preparing a spinning dope by adding the polyurethane urea polymer (A) to a polyurethane urea polymer (B); and [3] spinning a polyurethane elastic fiber using the spinning dope. In the formula, R1 and R2 are an alkyl group or a hydroxyalkyl group, R3 is an alkylene group, a polyethyleneoxy group or a polypropyleneoxy group, R4 is a diisocyanate residue, X is a urethane bond or a urea bond, R5 and R6 are a diisocyanate residue, P is a diol residue, Q is a diamine residue, UT is a urethane bond, UA is a urea bond, each of k, 1, m and n is 0 or a positive number.

摘要: A method of manufacturing artificial turf creating a liquid polymer mixture, wherein the polymer mixture is at least a two-phase system. A first one of the phases includes a first polymer and a first dye, and a second one of the phases of the polymer mixture includes a second polymer and a second dye. The second dye has a different color than the first dye, the second polymer being of the same or of a different type as the first polymer. The first and the second phase are immiscible, the first phase forming polymer beads within the second phase. The method further includes extruding the polymer mixture into a monofilament including a marbled pattern of the first and second color; quenching the monofilament; reheating the monofilament; stretching the reheated monofilament to deform the polymer beads into threadlike regions and to form the monofilament into an artificial turf fiber; and incorporating the artificial turf fiber into an artificial turf backing.

摘要: A method of fabricating a continuous nanofiber is described. The method includes preparing a solution of one or more polymers and one or more solvents and electrospinning the solution by discharging the solution through one or more liquid jets into an electric field to yield one or more continuous nanofibers. The electrospinning process (i) highly orients one or more polymer chains in the one or more continuous nanofibers along a fiber axis of the one or more continuous nanofibers, and (ii) suppresses polymer crystallization in the one or more continuous nanofibers. The one or more continuous nanofibers can have diameters below about 250 nanometers and exhibit an increase in fiber strength and modulus while maintaining strain at failure, resulting in an increase in fiber toughness.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a molded body which comprises cellulose, wherein the method comprises: i) providing a starting material which comprises cellulose and elastane, in particular wherein the elastane in the starting material is present separated from the cellulose, wherein the starting material is a solid body, and ii) generating the molded body which comprises cellulose, in particular by a lyocell-method or a viscose-method, on basis of the starting material, such that the regenerated cellulosic molded body comprises at least a part of the elastane of the starting material. The part of the elastane of the starting material is incorporated in the regenerated cellulosic molded body. Furthermore, a regenerated cellulosic molded body which comprises elastane incorporated in the cellulose, and which is manufactured according to a lyocell-method or a viscose-method.

摘要: Methods for producing cellulose articles having controlled release of active ingredient include dispersing pulp in aqueous direct solvent for cellulose to form a slurry. Organically modified or ion-exchange-activated phyllosilicate is homogenized in a direct solvent for cellulose with exfoliation by shearing, then mixed with the slurried pulp. A mixture of active ingredient and a lipophilic matrix material or a water-in-oil (“W/O”) emulsion containing active ingredient is stabilized with thickener, converted into a gel-like paste, and mixed with the slurried pulp. Water is stripped from the mixture until all cellulose is dissolved, the mixture is formed into shaped articles, and dried. Exemplary active ingredients include cosmetic active ingredients, fat-soluble vitamins or apolar plant extracts. Domains of active ingredient and matrix material or emulsion containing active ingredient are present as fine divisions within the inventive articles. Exemplary shaped articles include functional fibers in knitted, woven and nonwoven fabrics; paper; foils and membranes.
