    摘要: An energy generating system for generating thermal energy and electrical energy for a premises. The system includes an engine that drives an AC power generator to supply supplemental or standby power to the premises. The thermal energy given off by the engine is also coupled to the premises to provide heat thereto. A processor controls the various parameters of both the energy generating system and the premises to coordinate the proper heating and cooling thereof.

    摘要: A generator structure includes a lower compartment, an upper compartment, and an intake duct. The lower compartment is configured to support and house at least an alternator and an engine. The upper compartment configured to support and house and at least one cooling device configured to cool the lower compartment. The upper compartment and the lower compartment are vertically arranged. The intake duct is integrated with the lower compartment and includes an upper pathway duct and a lower pathway duct. The upper pathway duct provides a path of air to at least an intake of the engine and the lower pathway ducts provides a path of air to at least cool the alternator.

    摘要: A method for the destruction of a target gas, the method including: a) compressing at a first pressure a mixture of air and target gas to produce a compressed target gas mixture; b) destroying the target gas by combusting the compressed target gas mixture with diesel fuel in a forced-induction internal combustion engine, at a combustion pressure greater than the first pressure in the turbocharger, to produce an oxidised exhaust gas, the combustion occurring while maintaining a load on the diesel engine with a load bank; and c) processing the oxidised exhaust gas to produce a vent gas for venting to atmosphere where the vent gas includes substantially no target gas.

    摘要: An engine generator has an opening and closing mechanism including: a control shaft provided to a valve shaft of a choke valve to be rotatable relative thereto within a predetermined angular range; an urging member urging the valve shaft relative to the control shaft in a direction in which an opening degree of the choke valve decreases; a restriction mechanism that sets a minimum opening degree of the choke valve by restricting a range of rotation of the control shaft; a choke operating portion which, upon operation, drives the restriction mechanism in a direction in which the minimum opening degree of the choke valve decreases; and a negative pressure mechanism driven by a negative pressure generated during an operation of the engine to cause the control shaft to rotate to increase the minimum opening degree of the choke valve within the range of rotation restricted by the restriction mechanism.

    摘要: A single control for manipulating a fuel valve, a choke condition, and an ignition system condition of an engine of a portable engine powered device that simplifies starting, stopping, and operation of the engine associated with use of the device. The control includes a dial that can be rotated to positions between a first radial position and a second radial position. When the dial is in the first radial position, the fuel valve is maintained in a closed position and the ignition system is grounded such that the engine is rendered inoperable. Rotation of the dial away from the first radial position completes the ignition circuit, opens the fuel valve, and initiates a choke position suitable for subsequent starting and self-sustained operation of the engine. The dial is also axially displaceable to activate an electronic starter for engines so equipped.
