    摘要: A method for enhancing gating performance of a cell sorter to prepare an enriched specimen for optical tomography cell analysis includes introducing a specimen into a FACS to generate 2D event data; generating a first scatterplot of the 2D data; identifying target objects; constructing a boundary within the first scatterplot to produce a first gate; counting target objects within the first gate; comparing the number of target objects within the first gate to a first predetermined value and adjusting the first gate as necessary. A boundary around a set of target objects is constructed in a second scatterplot to produce a subset second gate and target objects within the second gate are counted and the count compared to a second predetermined value. When a boundary around target objects meets specifications the first and second gates are stored in memory and used to enrich patient specimens.

    摘要: The present invention is intended to provide an immunochromatographic analyzer that enables a quick and easy, high-sensitivity detection of Mycoplasma pneumoniae, and thus more reliable and faster diagnosis of mycoplasma pneumonia. The immunochromatographic analyzer according to the present invention is for detecting Mycoplasma pneumoniae, and includes a sample adding section, a label-substance retaining section, a chromatographic medium section having a detection section, and an absorbing section. The label-substance retaining section and the detection section contain an antibody that strongly recognizes domain III of P30 protein of Mycoplasma pneumoniae consisting of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2.

    摘要: The present invention relates to screening methods and, in particular, to methods of screening anti-ligand libraries for identifying anti-ligands specific for differentially and/or infrequently expressed ligands. The method comprises the steps of providing a library of anti-ligands: providing a first subtractor ligand; providing a second target ligand; determining the amount of the first and second target ligands using one or more equations derived from the universal law of mass action; providing the determined amount of a first subtractor ligand; providing the determined amount of a second target ligand; providing separation means capable of use to isolate anti-ligand bound to the second target ligand from anti-ligand bound to the first subtractor ligand; exposing the library of to the first and second target ligands to permit binding of anti-ligands to ligands; and using the separation means to isolate the anti-ligand bound to second target ligand.
