Abstract:
An object of the present invention is to provide an adhesive sheet having satisfactory adhesion to various adherends, in which an adhesive does not squeeze out from an adherend in thermocompression bonding of the adherend to the adhesive sheet. Another object of the present invention is to provide a laminate obtainable by using such adhesive sheet. Disclosed is an adhesive sheet comprising a hot-melt type adhesive layer, wherein the hot-melt type adhesive layer comprises a modified polymer (A) to which a cross-linkable group is given, and a polyolefin (B). It becomes possible for the adhesive sheet to adhere to various adherends, and thus the adhesive becomes less likely to squeeze out from an adherend in thermal fusion bonding and sealing of the adherend. With regard to a laminate obtainable by using the adhesive sheet, its adhesive layer does not squeeze out from the adherend without being affected by the material of the adherend.
Abstract:
The subject matter of the invention is a method for producing an article comprising a multilayer structure containing: - a first layer based on a metal or on an organic polymer; - and a second layer of an adhesive composition comprising by weight: a) from 15 to 40% of at least one amylaceous material; b) from 10 to 30% by weight of at least one plasticizer for this amylaceous material; c) from 10 to 35% of at least one nongrafted polypropylene; d) from 10 to 35% of at least one polypropylene grafted with a grafting monomer selected from unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydrides, unsaturated carboxylic acids, oxiranes and silanes; these percentages being defined relative to the sum of a, b, c and d; said first and second layers adhering to one another and said method comprising a step of bringing the adhesive composition into contact in the molten or softened state.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pressure sensitive, hot melt processable adhesive composition comprising a polar plasticising oil, a polar polyethylene copolymer and polyisobutylene and a layered adhesive construction and a medical device comprising the adhesive composition according to the invention.
Abstract:
The present invention is related to an article comprising a substrate, having at least one propylene terpolymer comprising propylene derived units, one or more dienes, and an alpha- olefin content of less than about 35 wt% of the propylene terpolymer; and an adhesive composition, having about 20 to about 80 wt% of a polymer blend comprising a first propylene-based polymer, that is a homopolymer of propylene or a copolymer of propylene and ethylene or a C 4 to C 10 alpha-olefin, and a second propylene-based polymer, that is a homopolymer of propylene or a copolymer of propylene and ethylene or a C 4 to C 10 alpha-olefin; wherein the second propylene-based polymer is different than the first propylene-based polymer; and wherein the adhesive composition is applied to the substrate at temperature of less than about 150°C.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hot melt adhesive composition comprising homogeneous linear or substantially linear ethylene/alpha-olefin interpolymers, block copolymers, tackifying resins and waxes, and their use in the bonding of bundles of containers such as bottles or cans into packs.
Abstract:
