摘要:
A polyester laminate for an identification document is formed from different polyester materials. One of the polyester materials, such as PCTA, provides a durability property. Another of the polyester materials, such as PETG, provides a layer having a surface with a bonding property for bonding directly to a core without adhesive. The polyester material with the bonding property is selected to enable direct bonding to a printed core layer of TESLIN or polyester through a roll to roll or platen press process.

Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a non-woven composite layer product with different hardnesses, the non-woven composite layer product at least consisting of a hard layer with a thickness of between 2-7 mm and a weight of between 600-1200 g/m2, and a soft layer with a thickness of between 15-40 mm and a weight of between 600-1200 g/m2. The manufacturing method mainly comprises the steps of: sticking at least a first non-woven material to be pre-formed into a hard layer and a second non-woven material to be pre-formed into a soft layer to become an intermediate, and then feeding the intermediate into a baking oven at a constant temperature to heat at a heating temperature of 180±20°C over a duration of longer than at least 200 seconds (inclusive), such that the first non-woven material and the second non-woven material are fully heated to softening, and the contact surfaces are bound by hot melting; and then feeding into a mold with different material thicknesses for a one-time hot-press molding, so as to obtain a non-woven composite layer product containing a hard layer and a soft layer with required specifications.

A yarn or thread may include a plurality of substantially aligned filaments, with at least ninety-five percent of a material of the filaments being a thermoplastic polymer material. Various woven textiles and knitted textiles may be formed from the yarn or thread. The woven textiles or knitted textiles may be thermal bonded to other elements to form seams. A strand that is at least partially formed from a thermoplastic polymer material may extend through the seam, and the strand may be thermal bonded at the seam. The woven textiles or knitted textiles may be shaped or molded, incorporated into products, and recycled to form other products.

A method of making an open-ended, reinforced, layered belt is disclosed. The method includes extruding a top layer onto said cords and meterering it into a first cavity or into a first gap defined by a smooth cylindrical mandrel and a molding band or a first gap defined between said mandrel and a laminating roller, thereby forming a carcass comprising said cords embedded at one surface of a film of said top layer material and training said carcass on a second portion of a cylindrical mandrel, said second portion including a second cavity defined between said cylindrical mandrel and a molding band or a second gap defined between said cylindrical mandrel and a laminating roller.

The field of the invention relates to methods for forming plastic into a predetermined shape, to products which may be manufactured using such methods, and to computer program products operable to run on a computer to control such methods. A process is provided for forming plastic into a predetermined shape from a plastic particulate material, and a heat-activated expandable foam plastic filler material, comprising the steps of: (i) providing first and second complementary mould parts; (ii) heating said first and second mould parts at least on their face portions such that the mould parts are at a temperature to make the plastic particulate material molten or sinterable; (iii) contacting the first and second mould parts with plastic particulate material; (iv) contacting the heat-activated expandable foam plastic filler material to the plastic particulate material; (v) melting or sintering at least a portion of the plastic particulate material on each mould part into a moulded skin; (vi) bringing together the complementary face portions of the heated first and second mould parts to form a composite sandwich.
