The invention relates to a device for absorbing the electric noise produced on a cable. The device comprises a housing consisting of two halves in each of which a ferrite element can be fixed. The two ferrite elements enclose the cable when the housing is closed. A locking device which keeps the two halves of the housing connected to each other is positioned completely inside the housing walls so that the housing cannot be opened inadvertently.

The invention relates to a device for absorbing the electrical noise in a cable, which device contains two ferrite half cores which are each housed in a housing half shell. The two housing half shells are arranged with the ferrite cores in such a manner around the cable that a closed cylindrical passage is produced through the ferrite element. The two ferrite half cores are supported by half-cylindrical rods in the housing half shells, and the rods extend through the half-cylindrical grooves of the ferrite elements. The inner wall of the cylindrical passage is consequently completely covered by the ferrite elements.

Bei einer Folientastatur, die auf ihrer dem Benutzer zugewandten Seite Bedienelemente und gegebenenfalls Anzeigeelemente aufweist, wird vorgeschlagen, die zur Ansteuerung und Auswertung der Tastatureingaben erforderlichen elektronischen Bauteile unmittelbar an der Rückseite der Frontplatte anzubringen, die vorzugsweise als Leiterplatte ausgebildet ist. Die Befestigung kann an der Rückseite der Frontplatte entweder durch Auflöten in SMD-Technik oder in Einpreßtechnik erfolgen. In Einpreßtechnik können auch die rein mechanischen Funktionsteile angebracht werden, die zur Anbringung der Folientastatur an einem Gerät dienen.
