The mole ratio of dianhydride to diamine is 48-52:52-48 and the ratio of X:Y is 20-80:80-20 where X is the mole percent of rigid rod dianhydride and rigid rod diamine, and Y is the mole percent of non-rigid rod dianhydride and non-rigid rod diamine. A rubber composition for a tire tread comprising 0.5 to 15 parts by weight of a nonmetallic fiber having an average fiber diameter of 1 to 100 µm and an average length of 0.1 to 5 mm and 0.5 to 30 parts by weight of a powder of eggshell based on 100 parts by weight of a diene rubber, and a pneumatic tire comprising the same.
