摘要： A lubricating composition comprises an amide and at least one additive. The amide is the reaction product of a secondary, branched amine and a carboxylic acid. The carboxylic acid may be a monocarboxylic acid or a dicarboxylic acid, including dimer acid. The amide is hydrolytically stable, and may be used to increase the hydrolytic stability of the lubricant composition. Alternatively, the amide may be used to increase the additive solubility or detergency of the lubricant composition.

摘要： The invention relates to a water-miscible emulsion concentrate containing oil, comprising: I) an oil component, II) an emulsifier system containing: a) ethoxylates/propoxylates of fatty alcohols with between 8 to 18 C atoms in the alcohol, with between 2 and 6 ethylene oxide units and between 4 and 8 propylene oxide units and b) fatty alcohols and/or fatty alcohol propoxylates with between 12 and 24 C atoms in the alcohol and between 0 and 3 propylene oxide units and/or the distillation residue of said fatty alcohols; and III) an anti-corrosion system containing: a) straight-chained and/or branched carboxylic acids and/or phosphonic acids with between 6 and 12 C atoms. Said emulsion concentrate is characterised in that the emulsifier system (II) also contains one or more alkoxylated fatty amines (IIc). The invention also relates to an oil-in-water emulsion used as an application solution of the emulsion concentrate for processing light alloys, especially aluminium and magnesium and the alloys thereof and to the use of said emulsion as a cleaning, anti-corrosion and cooling lubricant emulsion, especially for machining metal.

摘要： A lubricating oil composition which comprises a base oil, (A) a specific alkali metal salicylate derivative, a specific alkaline earth metal salicylate derivative and/or their (per)basic salt in an amount of 0.005 to 5 mass % in terms of the amount of the metal element (B) a phosphorus-containing wear inhibitor in an amount of 0.005 to 0.2 mass % in terms of the amount of phosphorus and (C) 0.01 to 1 mass % of an amide compound, and has a total sulfur content of 0.3 mass % or less, all the percentages being relative to the total amount of the composition. The lubricating oil composition is a low sulfur lubricating oil which is extremely excellent in wear inhibiting property and also excellent in long drain property and the like, and thus can be suitably used in particular for an internal combustion engine.

摘要： A lubricant composition is disclosed that is suitable for direct fuel injected, crankcase-scavenged two-stroke cycle engines. That lubricant composition has a major amount of at least one oil of lubricating viscosity, a minor amount of a lubricity additive, a polyalkyl amide, an imidazoline, a polyisobutylene, and a functionalized polyisobutylene. The lubricity additive contains glycerol monooleate, an acid aliphatic aromatic amine-phosphate, and sodium sulfonate. The acid aliphatic aromatic amine-phosphate has a phosphorus/oxygen atom ratio of from 4.0:1 to 4.5:1, and at least 1.2 equivalents of acid to 1.0 equivalents of base.

摘要： There is provided a metalworking process, such as for example a punching process, wherein a shaping tool (eg. punch) contacts and applies a non-chip forming shaping force to a metallic workpiece (eg. blank) and there is supplied to the interface between the shaping tool and the metallic workpiece an aqueous fluid composition, having an alkaline pH, comprising water, a tall oil fatty acid, sulfurized lard oil, a sulfurized olefin, an oxyethylene/oxypropylene random or block copolymer diol having an average molecular weight in the range of from about 1000 to 8000 and an organic phosphate ester such as for example poly (1,2-ethanediyl) alpha-isodecyl-omega hydroxy phosphate. Reduced forces, lower friction and improved tool life are observed.
