    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrially advantageous method for efficiently producing an internal olefin by selectively internally isomerizing α-olefin of a raw material while suppressing deterioration of catalyst and adverse reactions such as isomerization of skeleton, oligomerization and cracking by using an inexpensive catalyst.
    SOLUTION: The method for producing the internal olefin comprises bringing α-olefin in which water content measured by a Karl Fischer titration method is ≤50 ppm into contact with zeolite and/or montmorillonite catalyst and isomerizing the α-olefin.
