    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing retinal nerve cells from iris pigmented epithelial cells having possibility of effective utilization for regenerative medical treatment without necessitating gene introduction by inducing differentiation of the retinal nerve cells. SOLUTION: The method for the production of a retinal nerve cell includes a step of inducing the differentiation of an iris pigmented epithelial cell to a retinal nerve cell by adherent culture, on a serum-free medium, the iris pigmented epithelial cell being separated from the eyeball and free from gene introducing treatment.
