    Abstract: PURPOSE: A double-layered printed circuit board is provided to reduce simultaneous switching noises by simplifying power traces which is formed in the printed circuit board. CONSTITUTION: A ground plane(2) is stacked on the entire of a first substrate. The first substrate includes a decoupling capacitor(4). A second substrate includes a power plane(5) which transmits power by being stacked on a component position. The second substrate includes a signal trace and a power trace in order to transmit signal and power to a component. The power pins of the component which is mounted on the second substrate is connected through the decoupling capacitor and a via.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A laser diode driving circuit and an optical head are provided to generate a better driving signal even though a pulse width of light emitted from a laser diode is narrow. CONSTITUTION: An optical head is faced with an optical recording disk(30). The optical head consists of the first laser unit(10), a flexible circuit board(3) connected to the first laser unit(10), an IC(4) for driving a laser diode mounted on the flexible circuit board(3), the second laser unit(20), and a substrate(8). The first laser unit(10) is composed of the first laser diode(11) for emitting a laser beam having the first wavelength, the first photo detector(12), and the first hologram(13). The photo detector(12) generates a reproduction signal, a focusing error signal, and a tracking error signal. The first hologram(13) passes the laser beam emitted from the laser diode(11), and diffracts a portion of a beam reflected from the disk(30) to induce the diffracted light to the first photo detector(12).

    Abstract: An LC device having a substrate, a support layer having upper and lower sides formed on the substrate, inductors formed on either the upper or lower side of the support layer, and capacitors formed in the opposite side of the support layer. The support layer may be formed of a low-k dielectric material, and a connection portion may be provided to connect the inductors and capacitors in the support layer. The inductors and capacitors are disposed in a stacked structure on the upper and lower sides of the low-k dielectric support layer on the substrate, so that space efficiency may be maximized on the substrate. The low-k dielectric support layer provides support between the inductors and capacitors so that substrate loss is minimized and a Q factor of the inductors is enhanced.
