摘要: The present invention relates to Disclosed herein is a multilayer coating system being present on an optionally pre-coated substrate and including at least three coatings layers L1, L2 and L3 being different from one another, the first layer L1 applied on an optionally pre-coated substrate, the second layer L2 applied over L1, and the third top coating layer L3 applied over L2, where layer L1 is formed from a primer coating composition and layer L2 is formed from a basecoat composition different from the primer coating composition, where the primer coating composition is free of or essentially free of metal effect pigments. Further disclosed herein are a method of preparing the multilayer coating system, a kit-of-parts and a method of using the kit-of-parts for improving the LiDAR reflectivity, measured at an angle of incidence of 0°, and the flop index, of multilayer coating systems.

摘要: Described herein is an aqueous coating composition including at least one binder, at least one sustainable pigment selected from recycled carbon black or coffee grounds or tea, at least one solvent and optionally at least one crosslinking agent and/or at least one additive. The use of the sustainable pigments in the aqueous coating results in colored coatings on substrates, such as flexible foam substrates, having a high optical quality as well as good mechanical properties. Also described herein is a process for producing the aqueous coating composition and a method for coating a substate using the aqueous coating composition. Finally, described herein is a substrate bearing a coating produced by the method.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a method for producing a multi-layer coating on a substrate including the steps of (i) forming a primer coat layer (P) on a substrate, (ii) forming a silver metal layer (S) onto the surface of the coating layer (P); and (iii) forming one or more clear top coat layers (T) onto the surface of the silver metal layer (S), where the primer coat layer contains one or more particulate components selected from the group consisting of matting agents and structuring agents and where the silver metal layer (S) is formed by reductive deposition from an aqueous alkaline ammoniac solution containing a soluble silver salt, by use of a reducing agent. Further disclosed herein are multi-layer coated substrates obtainable according to the above method.

After crosslinking of these two compositions, the produced coated component is removed from the molding tool and subjected optionally to an aftertreatment.

摘要: The present invention relates to a production system for manufacturing of formulations, comprising a unit (1). The unit (1) includes a subunit (1.1) which includes a combination of a process mixer and a buffer tank, means of feeding defined amounts of feedstocks into the process mixer, a measurement unit for ascertaining properties of a part-batch of a formulation manufactured in the process mixer, an evaluation unit for determining a deviation of properties of the part-batches manufactured in the process mixer from the properties of a predefined target state, and a unit for adjusting the feed of feedstocks in view of the deviations. The present invention also relates to a process for manufacturing formulations.
