The main body is configured to be slidingly received within a mold cavity of a concrete products mold. The plated layer overlaid on the main body of the compression shoe comprises a uniform electroless nickel (Ni), phosphorus (P), and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) nano dispersion coating to effect enhanced material release characteristics by preventing the build-up of material on the compression shoes and enhancing their wear characteristics.

More particularly, the present invention relates to methods and compositions for in-mold coating cyclic olefin polymers prepared by ring opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP) reactions and the manufacture of polymer articles via ROMP. Polymer products produced via the metathesis reactions of the invention may be utilized for a wide range of materials and composite applications. The invention has utility in the fields of polymer and material chemistry and manufacture.

A method of making a sleep product having a cooling gel layer includes providing a mold, coating the mold with a composite material including a mold release and a cooling gel, and introducing a foaming mixture into the mold so that the foaming mixture is in contact with the composite material. The foaming mixture is allowed to rise and cure into a foam layer having an outer surface covered by the composite material. The composite material is both a mold release coating that facilitates removing the foam layer from the mold and a cooling gel coating that remains on the outer surface of the foam layer after the foam layer has been removed from the mold to provide a cooling effect at the outer surface of the foam layer.

This invention comprises a self-supporting, temperature-stable, indicia-bearing laminate of at least one layer of a non-oriented polyolefin film having an indicia array and a layer of a non-oriented polyolefin support film. The indicia layer laminate is formed by printing a carrier sheet with at least one layer of a printing ink comprising a mixture of particulate polyolefin, indicia material and a polyolefin-compatible resin. The polyolefin support film is printed as a layer over the indicia layer with a mixture of a polyolefin and a polyolefin-compatible resin. The printed layers are cured into non-oriented films, forming an indicia transfer. The transfer is used by removing the indicia-bearing laminate from the carrier sheet and applying the laminate to the inside surface of a rotational mold where it melts and fuses into the outer wall of a polyolefin product during the formation of the product in the rotational molding cycle.

This invention relates to the manufacturing of durable thermoset in-mold finishing films (TIMFFs) combining in-mold decorating and in-mold durable exterior grade coating capabilities, to molded articles having TIMFFs adhering to their surfaces and both showing a decoration and providing protection, and to thermosetting resin formulations used in the manufacturing of TIMFFs. In some embodiments, the thermoset is prepared via polyurethane chemistry; the manufacturing process comprises reaction injection molding (RIM) with a specially designed mold; and articles having TIMFFs adhering to their surfaces include graphic panels for durable signage, structural graphics, molded flooring, prefabricated housing, aerospace structures and body panels, automotive structures and body panels, and marine structures and body panels. In addition to RIM, the TIMFF technology is also compatible with other processes, such as injection molding, compression molding, resin transfer molding, spin casting, rotational molding, thermoforming, roll lamination, use of a platen/laminate press, and blow molding.
