摘要: A data processing device includes a memory, a direct memory access controller including a receiving module configured to receive data coming from outside the device and for writing the data in a main buffer memory of the memory, and a processing unit programmed to read and process data written by the receiving module in a work area of the main buffer memory. The main buffer memory is divided between a used space, where the receiving module is configured not to write, and free space, where the receiving module is configured to write. The processing unit is further programmed to define the work area, and the direct memory access controller includes a buffer memory manager configured to free data written in the main buffer memory, by defining a location of this data as a free space, only when this data is outside the work area.

摘要: The invention makes it possible to select an element from a list of elements represented by icons. A first element is selected by affixing a graphics distinction on its icon. When the user activates and holds a command, said graphics distinction moves from the first icon to a second icon. A second element is selected when the graphics distinction occupies at least one determined area of the second icon representing this second element. According to an improvement, the graphics distinction moves from icon to icon, totally overlapping only a single icon at a time. The invention also relates to a device able to execute the method of selecting an element by moving a graphics distinction.

摘要: The present invention relates to a navigation method on elements extracted from a determined list of elements. A part at least of the elements of the list is displayed and a navigation command enables the user to move a graphical characteristic on the displayed elements. The maximum speed of movement of the graphical characteristic depends on the total number of elements of the list. According to an improvement, the acceleration of the scrolling speed when the user maintains the navigation command also depends on the total number of elements of the list. The invention also relates to a terminal featuring a user interface implementing the method.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method of selecting buttons displayed in a graphics bar on a display screen. The entry of a first navigation command triggers the selection of a first button adjacent to the one selected in the bar. This first button is graphically highlighted. Then, the entry of a second navigation command in order to select a second button adjacent to the one previously selected triggers the selection and highlighting of a third button located in another position on the bar serving as a starting point for subsequent navigation commands. In this way, the user can skip from one button to another button located in any other location in the bar. The invention also relates to a receiver suitable for running a navigation software module.

摘要: An electrical current collector system includes a rotatable shaft (28); an electrically conductive slip ring (27); and a slip ring support assembly (42). The slip ring support assembly (42) comprises plural post insulators (102) spaced radially about the rotatable shaft for attaching the conductive slip ring to the rotatable shaft. The post insulators facilitate adjusting of the position of the slip ring relative to the rotatable shaft, e.g., to provide concentric positioning. The post insulators comprise an attachment/adjustment assembly (106) for connecting to the slip ring. In one embodiment, the attachment/adjustment assembly comprises a spring plate (134) which is adjustably biased to provide a preloading displacement that absorbs differential movement due to temperature changes of the slip ring an the rotatable shaft. In one example deployment, the current collector system is provided as part of a rotary transformer system (20) which, e.g., transfers electrical power between a first electrical system (e.g., first electrical grid) and a second electrical system (e.g., second electrical grid).

摘要: Testcases are run to test the design of an integrated circuit. The coverage of the testcases is evaluated and compared against one or more microarchitecture models that define the behavior of a portion of the integrated circuit. If the coverage of the testcases is not adequate, new testcases are generated to test the previously untested behavior specified in the microarchitecture models.
