The invention relates to a molding device (1) and a method for the manufacture of structured or semistructured composite components comprising a polymer resin (50) and a fibrous substrate (51). According to the invention, the device comprises a mold (2) comprising a bottom and a lateral surface, a part (10) that is movable along the lateral surface of the mold, comprising a compression surface (14) forming a cavity (7) with the bottom and the lateral surface (5) of said mold (2), characterized in that the movable part (10) comprises a vacuum-drawing channel (13, 23) opening into a chamber (25, 42) located above the cavity and communicating with said cavity (7).
Abstract:
A copolymer having amphiphilic blocks includes at least one first hydrophilic block, obtainable from n-butyl acrylate and hydroxyethyl methacrylate monomers, and a second hydrophobic block likely to be obtained from a methyl methacrylate monomer. The copolymer is found to be particularly advantageous for use as an additive for manufacturing a polymer filtration membrane, particularly a PVDF membrane, particularly via a phase inversion method.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a liquid (meth)acrylic syrup for impregnating a fibrous substrate. The invention especially relates to a viscous liquid syrup mainly containing methacrylic or acrylic components. The invention also relates to a method for producing such a syrup. The invention relates further to a process for impregnating a fibrous substrate or long fibers with said viscous liquid syrup. The invention also relates to a fibrous substrate preimpregnated with said syrup, which is useful for the production of mechanical or structured parts or products. The invention also relates to a production method for producing mechanical or structured parts or items and to three-dimensional mechanical or structured parts produced by said method. The invention applies to the production of mechanical parts or structural elements made of impact-resistant thermoplastic composite material.

In particular the present invention it relates to liquid composition comprising a (meth)acrylic monomer, a (meth)acrylic polymer and a multistage polymer that can be used as a syrup and especially as a syrup for impregnation.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a precursor composition for (meth) acrylic thermoplastic composites, its method of preparation and its use. In particular it relates to a semi-fabricated composition comprising a (meth) acrylic polymer, a monomer, a fibrous material and at least one initiator. More particularly the present invention relates to a precursor composition comprising a (meth) acrylic polymer, a monomer, a fibrous material and at least two initiators. The present invention relates also to a method of preparation of a composition comprising a (meth) acrylic polymer, a monomer, a fibrous material and at least two initiators.
Abstract:
Provided is a an amphiphilic diblock copolymer including from 40 to 60% by weight, relative to the weight of the copolymer, of a hydrophilic block including a unit derived from an n-butyl acrylate monomer and a derived from a hydroxyethyl methacrylate monomer. The copolymer also includes from 40 to 60% by weight, relative to the weight of the copolymer, of a hydrophobic block including at least one unit derived from a methyl methacrylate monomer. Also provided is a polymeric membrane that includes the block copolymer and a hydrophobic polymeric matrix. This membrane is useful for treating an effluent, for example, water.
