摘要: There is disclosed an image searching apparatus capable of searching an image stored in a memory medium, corresponding to a search image, selected from the plural search images registered in advance. The apparatus can generate a synthesized image, including the registered search images, together with marking areas, to be marked by the operator for selecting the search image, and prints the synthesized as a marking sheet which is to be marked by the operator and then read by the apparatus again, whereby the apparatus effects the image search, based on the marking provided on the marking sheet.

摘要: A large-size (A3-size) original is folded into two small-size (A4-size) portions. Images on the surfaces of the respective portions are read by image reading units. Image data output from the image reading units are stored in a memory. A detection unit detects end positions of the read images, and skew of each of the images is corrected. An image synthesis unit synthesizes the image data of the respective surfaces based on the output of the detection unit to provide the original single image. Thus, it is possible to read even a large-size original.

摘要: A slew rate regulation circuit varies a slew rate of a waveform of a voltage outputted to a DC motor through a N-channel MOSFET. The slew rate regulation circuit lowers a peak level by dispersing frequency components of switching noise, which develops in a frequency range higher than a frequency range determined by a carrier frequency.

摘要: The present invention obtains a multi-shaft drive device that can protect a rack and pinion from operative load input to a selector. The multi-shaft drive device is provided with: an input-side bevel gear (52) to which motor power is transmitted; and an output-side bevel gear (34) that transmits the power transmitted from the input-side bevel gear (52) to a movable mechanism. The multi-shaft drive device is further provided with: a selector (10) that connects/disconnects the meshing of the output-side bevel gear (34) and the input-side bevel gear (52); and a rotating shaft (16) that causes the selector (10) to slide via a rack (18) and pinion (17). Furthermore, the angle of rotation of the rotating shaft (16) is regulated by the end of the pinion (17) contacting a vertical wall (1A) of a case (1).

摘要: For a nonvolatile memory permitting electrical writing and erasing of information to be stored, such as a flash memory, the load on the system developer is to be reduced, and it is to be made possible to avoid, even if such important data for the system as management and address translation information are damaged, an abnormal state in which the system becomes unable to operate. The nonvolatile memory is provided with a replacing function to replace a group of memory cells including defective memory cells which are incapable of normal writing or erasion with a group of memory cells including no defective memory cell, a numbers of rewrites averaging function to grasp the number of data rewrites in each group of memory cells and to so perform replacement of memory cell groups that there may arise no substantial difference in the number of rewrites among a plurality of memory cell groups, and an error correcting function to detect and correct any error in data stored in the memory array, wherein first address translation information deriving from the replacing function and second address translation information deriving from the numbers of rewrites averaging function are stored in respectively prescribed areas in the memory array, and the first address translation information and second address translation information concerning the same memory cell group are stored in a plurality of sets in a time series.
