Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the field of tissue dissection. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to medical devices that lift and retract tissue during a dissection procedure to improve visualization of the target tissue and mitigate obstructions for dissection tools. In particular, the present disclosure relates to devices that transition from a constrained to an unconstrained bowed configuration to immobilize and retract the dissected portion of target tissue during a dissection procedure.

Abstract: A medical device may comprise a sheath configured to be inserted into a body lumen of a patient. A distal end of the sheath may include an elevator for changing an orientation of a medical device. A handle may include an actuator. The actuator may be operably connected to the elevator. Activation of the actuator may cause movement of the elevator. An engaging portion may, in at least one configuration of the handle, protrude from a surface of a handle body toward the actuator. A force exerted by the user on at least one of the actuator or the engaging portion may cause the handle to transition between (a) a first configuration in which the engaging portion interacts with the actuator to inhibit movement of the actuator relative to the engaging portion and (b) a second configuration in which the actuator is movable relative to the engaging portion.

Abstract: Methods and systems for refilling a container during an endoscopic procedure. An illustrative container may comprise a container configured to contain a fluid, a water supply tube including a first end, a second end, and a first lumen extending therethrough and in fluid communication with the bottom portion of the container, a gas supply tube including a first end, a second end, and a second lumen extending therethrough and in operative fluid communication with container, a manifold configured to couple the water supply tube and the gas supply tube to the container and including a first end positioned interior to the container and a second end positioned exterior to the container, and a port positioned adjacent to the top portion of the container. The port may be configured to be in selective fluid communication with an interior of the container.

Abstract: A system for controlling the flow of fluid through a medical device may include a medical device having a lumen that extends to a distal end of the medical device; a fluid source configured to supply fluid having a positive pressure to the lumen of the medical device; and a flow controller configured to apply a negative pressure to the fluid within the lumen, wherein the flow controller is triggered to apply the negative pressure upon a lowering of the positive pressure from the fluid source.

Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to fluid container adapters that couple with a fluid container, so to enable access to the contents of the fluid container, such as from an endoscopic system via a tubing set. Several embodiments are particularly directed to a fluid container adapter that can couple with an opening in a variety of fluid containers to place one or more tubes in fluid communication with an interior of any particular one of the variety of fluid containers.
