    Abstract: A drive control apparatus is provided for controlling a drive system mounted in a vehicle, where the drive system includes a power generator, at least one rechargeable battery, accessories powered by electrical power supplied from either or both of the least one rechargeable battery and the power generator. In the drive control apparatus, a selector is configured to, during power generation by the power generator, select the power generator as a power source for the accessories in preference to the least one rechargeable battery. A power controller is configured to, if generated power by the power generator exceeds power consumption of the accessories, increase the power consumption of the accessories.

    Abstract: A power supply system includes DC-power supplies, an AC rotating electrical machine, an inverter connected between a first power supply and the electrical machine, and a controller controlling switching of switching elements of the inverter. A first end of a second power supply is connected to a terminal of the same polarity side of the first power supply, and a second end of the second power supply is connected to a neutral point of windings of the electrical machine. The electrical machine and a drive shaft are connected or disconnected. When they are disconnected, the controller controls the switching to perform step-down or step-up of the first or second power supply by using the windings. When they are connected, the controller suppresses a current flowing to the windings compared with when they are disconnected to perform step-down or step-up. Electric power is transferred between the first and second power supplies.

    Abstract: A drive control apparatus is applied to a drive system that is mounted to a vehicle, drives wheels of the vehicle by a motor, and brakes the wheels by a brake apparatus. The drive control apparatus determines a road-surface state of a travel road of the vehicle. The drive control apparatus suppresses slipping of the vehicle by correcting a drive torque by correcting at least either of a motor torque and a brake torque. When determined that the drive torque is to be corrected, the drive control apparatus adjusts a correction amount of the drive torque by adjusting the motor torque with higher priority than the brake torque in response to be determined that the road-surface state is rough.

    Abstract: A temperature estimation device includes: an initial value estimation unit that estimates an initial temperature value of an estimation target component at the start of operation of a power converter electrically connected to a power storage device; a variation estimation unit that estimates a temperature variation of the estimation target component based on the value of an electric current supplied from the power converter by the operation of the power converter; and a temperature estimation unit that calculates an estimated temperature of the estimation target component based on the initial temperature value and the temperature variation. The initial value estimation unit estimates the initial temperature value based on time elapsed between the previous issuance of a temperature estimation stop instruction for the estimation target component and the current issuance of a temperature estimation start instruction for the estimation target component.

    Abstract: A driving system includes a first alternating-current rotary electrical machine and a second alternating-current rotary electrical machine. The driving system includes: a first inverter electrically connected to the first alternating-current rotary electrical machine; a second inverter electrically connected to a first end of each of phase windings constituting the second alternating-current rotary electrical machine; a step-up converter; and a third inverter that is electrically connected to a second end of each of the phase windings and transfers power to a second direct-current power source different from the first direct-current power source to drive the second alternating-current rotary electrical machine. The step-up converter raises an output voltage of the first direct-current power source and outputs the output voltage to the first inverter and the second inverter.     Abstract: A drive system includes a first inverter electrically connected to a first AC rotating electrical machine, a second inverter electrically connected to first end sides of phase coils constituting a second AC rotating electrical machine, a boost converter, and a third inverter electrically connected to a second end sides of phase coils and drives the second AC rotating electrical machine by transmitting electrical power between the third inverter and a second DC power source different from a first DC power source. The drive system is configured such that the second DC power source and the first AC rotating electrical machine are connected via a single connecting route. The drive system includes a processor that changes a control state of at least one of the first to third inverters and the boost converter based on a state of at least one of the first to third inverters, the boost converter, and the first and second DC power sources.
