Abstract: A cylinder de-activation control method and a cylinder de-activation system are disclosed. A cylinder de-activation control method of an engine having an odd number of cylinders may include: receiving operation state signals of a vehicle; determining whether the operation state signals correspond to a CDA mode driving region of a CDA apparatus; preparing a CDA driving mode of the CDA apparatus when the operation state signals correspond to the CDA mode driving region; and performing a CDA mode conversion on each cylinder.

Abstract: A variable compression ratio apparatus may include: a piston pin; a small diameter eccentric cam disposed on a piston; a large diameter eccentric cam disposed between the small diameter eccentric cam and a small end portion of a connecting rod; a first plunger movably disposed in a first plunger space inside the piston pin; a second plunger movably disposed in a second plunger space formed inside the piston pin; and first and second oil injection nozzles disposed at a lower portion of the piston. In particular, the first and second oil injection nozzles control a control position of the first and second plungers by supplying hydraulic pressure to an end portion of the first plunger and the other portion of the second plunger through first and second guide passages formed inside the piston by injecting oil to the lower portion of the piston.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a variable compression ratio device including a piston, a piston pin, an eccentric cam, a connecting rod, a crank pin, a hydraulic pump, an oil jet injection nozzle, an oil jet control valve, and a control unit. In addition, a groove formed in a rotating direction of the eccentric cam is divided into a first chamber and a second chamber. The piston pin receives a hydraulic pressure through a path formed inside the crank pin and the connecting rod and receives the oil injected from the oil jet injection nozzle to control the hydraulic pressure supplied to the first chamber and the second chamber of the eccentric cam, thereby controlling the rotation position of the eccentric cam.
