    摘要: Provided is an electrical insulating resin composition capable of forming an electrical insulating layer which has excellent flexibility and board adhesiveness, together with high thermal resistance and high humidity resistance, tolerates a high temperature treatment at soldering and can be stably used for a long time under a harsh environment with high temperature and vibration in an automobile. A resin composition containing as organic components at least a rubber like polymer compound (A) composed of a copolymer of an aromatic vinyl compound and a conjugated diene compound and a polymerizable monomer (B) having one or more terminal reactive double bonds is employed as the electrical insulating resin composition. The compound (A) may be partially hydrogenated. The composition may optionally contain an oligomer (C) having a ring structure and having a reactive unsaturated bond in the molecule thereof.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is an optical modulator module including an optical waveguide structure of a Mach-Zehnder type, for example, an electrode for switching a coupling mode where an output beam is obtained from the optical waveguide structure and a leakage mode where a leakage beam deflects from the optical waveguide structure, a photodetector having a photodetecting surface for receiving the leakage beam, and a mechanism for converting a beam parameter of the leakage beam so as to prevent close contact of the photodetecting surface with the optical waveguide structure. The optical modulator module allows monitoring of optical power by the use of the leakage beam and is improved in manufacturability.

    摘要: There is provided a process for preparing 1,6-hexanediol by esterifying a carboxylic acid mixture resulted from oxidation of cyclohexane with oxygen, and then hydrogenating the esters, which substantially does not contain a compound leading to a high ester value.A process for preparing 1,6-hexanediol from a carboxylic acid mixture containing adipic acid and 6-hydroxycaproic acid, the carboxylic acid mixture is obtained as a by-product in oxidization of cyclohexane to cyclohexanone/cyclohexanol using oxygen or an oxygen-containing gas, the process comprises esterifying the acids with an alcohol, followed by hydrogenation, and the process is characterized by comprising the following steps of: a) separating a component having a boiling point lower than that of water and the alcohol used in the esterification from a mixture obtained by the hydrogenation in a first distillation step; b) separating an EV component having a boiling point higher than that of 1,6-hexanediol further in a second distillation step; c) separating an EV component having a boiling point lower than that of 1,6-hexanediol further in a third distillation step; and then d) obtaining 1,6-hexanediol in a fourth distillation step, in this order.

A quality sensor is installed between a minimum remaining amount liquid level and a bottom portion of the urea tank; a drop pipe is installed from a ceiling portion of the urea tank to a top space in the urea tank; a support is installed from a bottom portion to the ceiling portion of the urea tank; the quality sensor and the drop pipe are integrated through the support; and a bubble diffusion region caused by the urea aqueous solution dropping from the drop pipe is out of a sensitive region of the quality sensor.

    摘要: An optical device guides propagating light to exit from a desired side surface of a substrate while maintaining sufficient power within a limited size of the substrate and which facilitates adjustment of a mount position of a light-receiving element by increasing allowable tolerance of the mount position of the light-receiving element. The optical device has a substrate, a light propagating direction path formed in the substrate, and a reflection groove formed in an output-side of said light propagating direction path in the substrate. A side wall of the reflection groove is formed to become a convex reflection surface in relation to light which enters from the light propagating direction path, and the light output from the light propagating direction path undergoes total reflection on a side wall forming the reflection surface and lets the reflected light exit from a predetermined side surface of the substrate while enlarging an image.
