Abstract: Disclosed herein is a composition comprising a poly(arylene sulfide); a polysiloxane/polyimide block copolymer; glass fiber and an optional platy filler. The polysiloxane/polyimide block copolymer has greater than or equal to 10 weight percent siloxane content, based on the total weight of the polysiloxane/polyimide block copolymer. The composition retains greater than or equal to 60% of the initial viscosity after being retained at 320° C. for 30 minutes and the composition has an OSU peak heat release less than 45 kW/m2 when measured using the method of FAR F25.4 and according to FAR 25.853 (d). Articles comprising the composition are also described.

Abstract: A polyetherimide composition is disclosed including a polyetherimide sulfone having a glass transition temperature of 240 to 320 C, preferably 245 to 312 C, and a particulate, thermally conductive filler composition. A layer of the polyetherimide composition resists deformation as determined by IPC method TM-650 when subjected to a lead-free solder reflow process at a temperature of greater than or equal to 260 C, preferably 260 to 350 C. A layer including the polyetherimide composition further has a thermal conductivity of 2.5 to 15 W/mK, preferably 3 to 12 W/mK, as determined in accordance with ISO 22007-2:2008.

Abstract: A foldable cover assembly includes a glass layer having a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface, a first thickness at a first location and a second thickness at a second location, wherein the second thickness is less than the first thickness. The second thickness is further effective to provide bendability to the glass layer. The foldable cover assembly further includes an optically clear polymer film disposed on the first surface of the glass layer. The polymer film includes a thermoplastic polymer, a thermoset polymer, or a combination comprising at least one of the foregoing, wherein a 100 micrometer-thick sample of the optically clear polymer film transmits greater than 85% of visible light as determined according to ASTM D1003-00. A method for the manufacture of the foldable cover assembly is also described. The foldable cover assembly can be useful for use with an electronic device.

The flow promoter includes units derived from styrene and acrylonitrile, preferably an acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene, a styrene-acrylonitrile, a high rubber graft acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate copolymer, or a combination including at least one of the foregoing. A method of making the thermoplastic composition and an article including the thermoplastic composition are also disclosed.
