Abstract: A secondary battery control system that conducts abnormality detection while predicting other parameters (internal resistance, SOC, and the like) with high accuracy is provided. A difference between an observation value (voltage) at a certain point in time and a voltage that is estimated using a prior-state variable is sensed. A threshold voltage is set in advance, and from the voltage difference that is sensed, a sudden abnormality, specifically a micro-short circuit or the like is detected. Furthermore, it is preferable that detection be performed by using a neural network to learn data on voltage difference in a time series and determine abnormality or normality.

Abstract: A display device that is suitable for increasing its size is provided. The display device includes first to third wirings, a first transistor, first to third conductive layers, and a first pixel electrode; the first wiring extends in a first direction and intersects with the second and the third wirings; the second and the third wirings each extend in a second direction intersecting with the first direction; a gate of the first transistor is electrically connected to the first wiring; one of a source and a drain of the first transistor is electrically connected to the second wiring through the first to the third conductive layers; the second conductive layer includes a region overlapping with the third wiring; the first conductive layer, the third conductive layer, and the first pixel electrode contain the same material; the first wiring and the second conductive layer contain the same material; the first wiring is supplied with a selection signal; and the second and the third wirings are supplied with different signals.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display device with a high aperture ratio is provided. The display device includes a transistor, a first insulating layer, a second insulating layer, a third insulating layer, a first conductive layer, a pixel electrode, a common electrode, and a liquid crystal layer in a pixel. The first insulating layer is positioned over a channel formation region of the transistor. The first conductive layer is positioned over the first insulating layer. The second insulating layer is positioned over the transistor, the first insulating layer, and the first conductive layer. The pixel electrode is positioned over the second insulating layer, the third insulating layer is positioned over the pixel electrode, the common electrode is positioned over the third insulating layer, and the liquid crystal layer is positioned over the common electrode. The common electrode includes a region overlapping with the first conductive layer with the pixel electrode positioned therebetween. The pixel includes a first connection portion where the pixel electrode is electrically connected to the transistor and a second connection portion where the first conductive layer is electrically connected to the common electrode. The first conductive layer, the pixel electrode, and the common electrode each have a function of transmitting visible light.

Abstract: To provide a display device capable of displaying a plurality of images by superimposition using a plurality of memory circuits provided in a pixel. A plurality of memory circuits are provided in a pixel, and signals corresponding to images for superimposition are retained in each of the plurality of memory circuits. In the pixel, the signals corresponding to the images for superimposition are added to each of the plurality of memory circuits. The signals are added to the signals retained in the memory circuits by capacitive coupling. A display element can display an image corresponding to a signal in which a signal written to a pixel through a wiring is added to the signals retained in the plurality of memory circuits. Reduction in the amount of arithmetic processing for displaying images by superimposition can be achieved.

Abstract: The reading accuracy of an imaging device is increased. Clear image capturing is performed even in the case where the luminance is high. A reading circuit of the imaging device includes an amplifier portion and a conversion portion. The amplifier portion amplifies a potential difference between a first signal and a second signal that are sequentially input and outputs the amplified difference to the conversion portion. The conversion portion converts the output potential of the amplifier portion into a digital value. The amplifier portion is reset on the basis of a first reference potential and the first signal and amplifies the potential difference on the basis of a second reference potential that is different from the first reference potential and the second signal.

Abstract: To provide an inexpensive display device. The display device includes a pixel and an IC chip. The pixel includes a first pixel circuit including a display element and a second pixel circuit including a light-receiving device. The one IC chip includes a control circuit, a data driver circuit, and a read circuit. The first and second pixel circuits are electrically connected to the read circuit. The control circuit has a function of controlling driving of the data driver circuit and the read circuit. The data driver circuit has a function of supplying image data to the first pixel circuit. The read circuit has a function of outputting a monitor signal corresponding to a monitor current when the monitor current flows through the first pixel circuit. The read circuit also has a function of outputting an imaging signal corresponding to imaging data acquired by the second pixel circuit.

Abstract: To provide a hysteresis comparator having a small circuit area and low power consumption. The hysteresis comparator includes a comparator, a switch, a first capacitor, a second capacitor, and a logic circuit. A first terminal of the switch is electrically connected to one of a pair of conductive regions of the first capacitor, one of a pair of conductive regions of the second capacitor, and a first input terminal of the comparator. An output terminal of the comparator is electrically connected to an input terminal of the logic circuit. An output terminal of the logic circuit is electrically connected to the other of the pair of conductive regions of the second capacitor. The logic circuit has a function of generating an inverted signal of a signal input to the input terminal of the logic circuit and outputting the inverted signal to the output terminal of the logic circuit. A reference potential is input to the first input terminal of the comparator and the reference potential is held by the switch. Due to change in the potential of the output terminal of the comparator, the reference potential is changed by capacitive coupling of the second capacitor.
