摘要: A dispenser includes a main body having a discharge opening, an open interior configured to receive a supply of granulated product and a discharge spout for dispensing the granulated product therefrom. A loading and dispensing member is constructed with a plurality of spaced apart receiving cavities formed therein, and is movably mounted within the main body. A portion control container receiving the granulated product and defining a first portion control volume is received and removably retained in each of the plurality of retaining cavities. Each entire portion control container is removable from one of the receiving cavities and is replaceable with a different portion control container defining a second portion volume which is different that the first portion volume. An agitator is positioned within the main body, and is configured for separate engagement with each of the portion control containers to agitate the granulated product received in each of the portion control containers during movement of the loading and dispensing member.

摘要: A method of measuring the flow rate of fluid through a gate member attached to a pipeline. The pipeline including includes a flow meter upstream and adjacent the gate member. The flow meter provides a flow output to measure the fluid flow through the flow meter. The method includes steps of monitoring the flow output from the flow meter; monitoring the gate opening position of the gate member; determining a relationship or algorithm for the flow rate using calculations derived from system identification techniques based on data received from the monitoring of the flow output from the flow meter and data received from the monitoring of the gate opening position; and once the relationship or algorithm has been determined, using the relationship or algorithm to subsequently measure said flow rate.

摘要: Described and shown is a method for operating a flowmeter (1) having a measuring tube (2), wherein the flow (d) of a medium (4) through the measuring tube (2) is measured. A continuous dwell time of the measured flow (d) greater than or equal to a flow threshold (ds) is assigned to a flow interval (ΔtD,1, ΔtD,2) and a flow volume (V1, V2) is determined from the measured flow (d) in the flow interval (ΔtD,1, ΔtD,2). In each case, a continuous dwell time of the measured flow (d) less than the flow threshold (ds) is assigned to a zero flow interval (ΔtN,1). In each case, a deviation volume of the flow volume (V1, V2) in one of the flow intervals (ΔtD,1, ΔtD,2) from a reference flow volume is determined and the deviation volume is compared to a threshold deviation volume. If the deviation volume in one of the flow intervals (ΔtD,1, ΔtD,2) is less than the threshold deviation volume, a zero flow through the measuring tube (2) is determined and compensated using the measured flow (d) in the zero flow interval (ΔtN,1) directly preceding the flow interval (ΔtD,1, ΔtD,2).

摘要: A system and method for improved flow measurements for LCG, such as liquid petroleum gas (LPG), is disclosed. Embodiments of the present technology detect the presence of a vapor in a fluid flowing in a mass flow meter. A control valve is then adjusted to provide enough back pressure to prevent the measured liquid from flashing and to reduce the presence of vapor in the fluid flowing in the mass flow meter. By keeping the fluid in liquid form, the present technology reduces the vapor flowing in the mass flow meter, increasing the accuracy of mass flow and other measurements. Utilizing a similar principle of vapor detection, embodiments of the present technology provide for improved average parameter value calculation, such as average density calculations and equivalent liquid volume calculations.
