Abstract:
A tire (3) for vehicles, which does not require pressurization by means of a pressurized fluid, has a tread (16), two sidewalls (15), and two beads (8) attached to a wheel rim (2) and made of elastomer material; the tire is provided with at least one tubular reinforcement body (18) which is associated with the tread; each of the sidewalls have a respective homogeneous resilient annular membrane (24).
Abstract:
Disclosed is a self-supporting tire for wheels for bicycles, motorcycles and the like comprising an outer surface layer (5), which establishes contact with the ground (8) and an inner supporting layer (6) realized by a flexible polyurethane elastomer with a cellular structure, which at least partially occupies the internal volume of the tire (1) and supports the outer surface layer, also comprising a flexible membrane (9) substantially having the shape of the outer layer (5) and radially compressing the inner supporting layer (6).
Abstract:
A soil conditioning device having a series of peripheral ridge members having a leading and trailing prow shaped surface circumscribing a disc, wheel or drum. Optionally the prow shaped peripheral ridge members are joined by sub-ridge members forming a single ridge of varying heights circumscribing the disc, wheel or drum. The invention is also of a method for creating a permeable soil surface using the apparatus herein.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a tire wheel assembly and a noise-reducing device whereby cavity resonance sound can be effectively reduced. A noise-reducing device, which includes a shell structure where a rough surface portion having a ten-point height of irregularities (Rz) in a range of 0.1 to 5.0 mm is provided on at least part of a surface, is attached to a wheel rim in a cavity portion of a pneumatic tire, and additionally, a height of the shell structure from a rim sheet is set in a range of 10 to 70% of a cross-sectional height of the tire.
Abstract:
A tyre (3) for vehicles which does not require pressurisation by means of a pressurised fluid has a tread (16), two sidewalls (15), and two beads (8) which are attached to a wheel rim (2) made of elastomer material, and is provided with at least one tubular reinforcement body (18) which is associated with the tread; each of the sidewalls having a respective homogeneous resilient annular membrane (24), a straight generatrix of which forms an angle (A) other than 90° with the axis (13) of the tyre (3); the membranes (24) being stretched radially between the tread (16) and the heads (8) such as to be pre-tensioned in the absence of external loads acting on the tyre (3).

Abstract:
A first tire having a cavity filled with cured and foamed elastomeric material and a recycled foamed elastomeric material. The recycled foamed elastomeric material was removed from a second tire for recycling in the first tire.
Abstract:
A two-piece tire assembly has a removable tread belt 12 for installing about the circumference of a tire carcass 14. The tread belt has a pair of lateral ends each axially extending beyond the inflated unloaded carcass 14 at the circumferential surface by a distance of at least 4% of the width as measured at the tread belt 12 and carcass 14 interface. The carcass 14 has an abrasion resistant rubber layer 82A at the tread belt interface. The tread belt 12 also has the abrasion resistance tread compound 82B at the carcass 14 interface.
Abstract:
Rubber composition vulcanizable with sulfur and tire tread and tire casing comprising the composition, characterized in that the composition comprises: a) at least one polymer selected from the group consisting of diene polymers, olefin/monomeric diene copolymers and isoolefin/halogenated para-alkylstyrene copolymers; b) silica as filler; c) at least one agent of the sulfur-containing silane type promoting the linkage between silica and polymer; d) at least one substituted guanidine; and in that it has at least one of the following characteristics: It has at least one diene polymer which comprises at least one terminal amino group of an aliphatic or cycloaliphatic amine which is bonded thereto at the end of the chain, the polymer then being devoid of the alkoxysilane and silanol group; the composition comprises at least one free aliphatic or cycloaliphatic amine.
Abstract:
A tubeless tire (1) comprising: Twin bead portions (5), each of which lets a wheel engage it; An outer layer portion (2) having a tread portion (6) to be grounding; An inner liner layer (3) included rubber, which is entirely stuck inside of the outer layer portion (2), wherein There is provided the most inner layer (4) inside of the inner liner layer (3), which not only maintains airtight of the tubeless tire, but includes an adhesion part (4a), in which it is stuck to the inner liner layer (3), and non-adhesion part (4b), in which it is not stuck on the inner liner layer (3) and it (4b) can be transformed independently for the outer layer portion (2) and the inner liner layer (3).
