A moulding installation and method for moulding food products from a pumpable foodstuff mass are described. A revolving mould drum is provided with multiple mould cavities and a mass feed member is arranged at a fill position to transfer foodstuff mass into passing mould cavities. The foodstuff mass forms a food product in the mould cavity. A pressurized air food product ejection system includes air ducts in the mould drum that extend to the cavities and at least a portion of the surface delimiting a mould cavity is air permeable. The ejection system further includes a pressurized air source to feed pressurized air at a regulated ejection air pressure thereof to the air ducts. A controller is adapted to input at least one target parameter related to filling of the mould cavities with the foodstuff mass via the mouth of the mass feed member. The controller is adapted to automatically set an ejection air pressure by the pressurized air source on the basis of the inputted target parameter.

The method for supplying a resin includes: a primary resin supplying step of supplying a liquid resin contained in a first cartridge to a supply target, the first cartridge having a remaining amount of liquid resin smaller than a target supply amount appropriate for one-time resin supply to the supply target; a cartridge replacing step of replacing, after the primary resin supplying step, the first cartridge with a second cartridge already subjected to dripping out; and a secondary resin supplying step of supplying a liquid resin contained in the second cartridge to the supply target after the cartridge replacing step.

A dosage device for extruding a monocomponent or a bicomponent polymeric product, particularly for an automatic machine for forming a spacer frame, includes a first dosage assembly and a separate second dosage assembly for the dosage and feeding of the product, which can be activated, in a first feeding step and in a third feeding step, alternately so that one of them provides continuity of flow to an extrusion nozzle while the other one is in the reloading step. The first and second dosage assemblies are activated, in a second swapping step that is intermediate with respect to the first and third feeding steps, simultaneously and jointly, one of them having a flow-rate ramp that passes from the steady-state value to zero and the other one complementarily having a flow-rate ramp that passes from zero to the steady-state value.

A device is provided for layered manufacture of at least a three-dimensional product by an additive manufacturing technique based on a powder. The invention therefore relates to a device for the layered manufacturer of a product based on a powder, in particular a metal powder.This device is fitted with a build chamber with a vertically movable build platform on which said product is manufactured and contains a powder dispenser for application of the successive powder layers on the build platform in a horizontal build surface. The powder dispenser can be moved back and forth over the build surface along a horizontal dispensing direction in order to apply said powder layers.Moreover, the device contains a hopper that must contain said powder in order to supply powder to the powder dispenser. This hopper has a bottom with a dosing opening that lets out into the build chamber and that works in combination with a dosing valve. More specifically, the dosing valve enables a measured quantity of powder to flow out of the hopper.

The method further comprises the step of a computer causing the epoxy injector to dispense the determined dispensing amount of epoxy, via the dispensing end, at the determined dispensing rate. The method further comprises the step of a computer causing a dispensing arm, supporting the dispensing end, to retract the dispensing end while the epoxy injector is dispensing the epoxy. The method further comprises the step of curing the dispensed epoxy.

An LED is fabricated with a composite layer including quantum dots (QDs), wherein the QDs are provided in a silicone paste. A plurality of QD silicone paste reservoirs each contain a provided silicone paste with QDs of different wavelengths. Further, a silicone paste reservoir containing a clear silicone paste. A paste mixing chamber, in to which the QD paste reservoirs and the silicone paste reservoir supply their respective pastes, mixes together the pastes and form a mixed QD silicone paste. A silicone mixing and metering component receives the mixed QD silicone paste from the paste mixing chamber, and further receives A silicone and B silicone from a respective A silicone reservoir and a B silicone reservoir, measures, and mixes the mixed QD silicone paste with the A and B silicones to form a silicone polymer composite. A dispensing component receives to the silicone polymer composite from the mixing and metering component and dispenses the composite to a molding tool.
