Abstract: An intelligent system for matching audio with video of the present invention provides a video analysis module targeting color tone, storyboard pace, video dialogue, length and category and director's special requirement, actors expression, movement, weather, scene, buildings, spacial and temporal, things and a music analysis module targeting recorded music form, sectional turn, style, melody and emotional tension, and then uses an AI matching module to adequately match video of the video analysis module with musical characteristics of the music analysis module, so as to quickly complete a creative composition selection function with respect to matching audio with a video.

Abstract: Data processing systems and methods are disclosed for augmenting video content with one or more augmentations to produce augmented video. Elements within video content may be identified by spatiotemporal indices and may have associated values. An advertiser can pay to have an augmentation added to an element that, for example, advertises the advertiser's goods and/or includes a link that, when activated, takes a user to the advertiser's website. Elements may have associated contexts that can be used to determine augmentations and element value, such as a position and/or current use of the element.

Abstract: Methods and systems for compressing video content are presented. The methods and systems include analyzing a sequence of media frames stored in the memory device and calculating a displacement level of each of the media frames. The displacement level indicates how different each of the media frames is to a previous media frame. The sequence of media frames is divided into a plurality of cuts where each cut ends at a media frame having a substantially high displacement level. Frames to be removed from the sequence of media frames are identified in each cut based upon the frame's displacement level. The identified frames are then removed.

Abstract: Systems and methods for intelligent playback of media content may include an intelligent media playback system that, in response to determining the speech tempo in audio content by measuring syllable density of speech in the audio content, automatically adjusts a playback speed of the audio content as the audio content is being played based on the determined speech tempo. In some embodiments, the system may automatically and dynamically adjust the playback speed to result in a desired target speech tempo. In addition, the system may determine whether to automatically adjust playback speed of the audio content, as the media is being played, based on the detected speech tempo of the speech in the audio content and the determined type of content of media. Such automatic adjustments in playback speed result in more efficient playback of the audio content.

Abstract: A system for using metadata from a video signal to associate advertisements therewith, comprising (i) a segmentation system to divide the video signal into video clips, (ii) a digitizing system for digitizing the video clips, (iii) a feature extraction system for extracting audio and video features from each video clip, associating each audio feature with respective video clips, associating each video feature with respective video clips, and saving the audio and video features into an associated metadata file, (iv) a web interface to the feature extraction system for receiving the video clips, and (v) a database, wherein video signals and associated metadata files are stored and indexed, wherein the associated metadata file is provided when a video player requests the corresponding video signal, enabling selection of a relevant advertisement for presentment in conjunction with respective video clips based on the associated audio and video features of the respective video clip.

Abstract: A system and method for displaying an image of an object of interest located at an incident scene. The method includes receiving, from the image capture device, a first video stream of the incident scene, and displaying the video stream. The method includes receiving an input indicating a pixel location in the video stream, and detecting the object of interest in the video stream based on the pixel location. The method includes determining an object class, an object identifier, and metadata for the object of interest. The metadata includes the object class, an object location, an incident identifier corresponding to the incident scene, and a time stamp. The method includes receiving an annotation input for the object of interest, and associating the annotation input and the metadata with the object identifier. The method includes storing, in a memory, the object of interest, the annotation input, and the metadata.

Abstract: In an example implementation, a method is described. The implementation accesses first and second media clips. The implementation also matches a first fingerprint of the first media clip with a second fingerprint of the second media clip and determines an overlap of the first media clip with the second media clip. The implementation also, based on the overlap, merges the first and second media clips into a group of overlapping media clips, transmits, to a client device, data identifying the group of overlapping media clips and specifying a synchronization of the first media clip with the second media clip, and generates for display on a display device of the client computing device, a graphical user interface that identifies the group of overlapping media clips, specifies the synchronization of the first media clip with the second media clip, and allows access to, and manipulation of, the first and second media clips.

Abstract: A location in a video may be specified and content related to the location may be accessed. A method for accessing the related content may include receiving a reference to a pixel location in a frame of a video feed of a filmed occurrence and accessing a spatio-temporal index corresponding to the filmed occurrence. The spatio-temporal index may index information relating to events or objects of the filmed occurrence and corresponding pixel locations at which the events or the objects are detected in the video feed. The method may further include querying the spatio-temporal index using the pixel location to determine particular information of an indexed event or an indexed object and receiving the particular information wherein the particular information indicates at least one of spatial and temporal alignment parameters for aligning the indexed event with a corresponding event in at least one other video feed of the filmed occurrence.
