摘要: The present invention provides a printing ink or coating composition comprising a self-crosslinking acrylic polymer and a silicone emulsion wherein the self-crosslinking acrylic polymer has a minimum film forming temperature of less than 25° C. Furthermore, the present invention also provides a process for preparing a coated substrate, in particular a polyboard substrate, and an article made from the coated substrate, such as a milk or juice carton.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method for establishing the suitability for printing of a thermoplastic film for use in a packaging of absorbent hygienic articles, said thermoplastic film comprising at least 30% recycled polymer material. The method comprises scanning a sample of said film for Gel Spots, defining an Amount of Gel spots and a Relative Gel Spot Coverage area, and, determining that if the Amount of Gel Spots is less than or equal to a first threshold and the Relative Gel Spot Coverage Area is less than or equal to a second threshold, determining that said thermoplastic film is suitable for printing. The disclosure also relates to a method of forming a package from a thermoplastic film, and to a package comprising a thermoplastic film.

摘要: An energy-efficient method of controlling the composite microstructure and resulting thermoelectric (TE) properties of TE composite films. The TE composite films, which include a small amount of naturally occurring chitosan binder that is sufficient to hold TE particles together, are modified by applying uniaxial mechanical pressure at low temperatures for a short duration. The TE composite films have high electrical conductivity and low thermal conductivity, making them ideal for use into high-performance energy harvesting thermoelectric devices.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a flex-tolerant three-dimensional printed antenna suitable for use in an electronic device provides a three-dimensional printed antenna with base layer, radiation layer, through holes, and feeder. The radiation layer includes a first radiation region, at least one second radiation region, and a feed end. A region between the first and second radiation regions is defined as a bent region. The radiation layer is formed by a screen-printing plate by a planar printing process. The through holes on the bent region form a line for bending. The feeder is electrically connected to the feed end. The second radiation region is canted from the bending line with respect to the first radiation region to form the three-dimensional printed antenna. The three-dimensional printed antenna and an electronic device are also disclosed.

摘要: It is the object of the present invention to provide a new polymer coating for low temperature plastics and plastic foams that allows for the application of disperse dyes in a sublimation process that preserves the original properties of the underlying plastic substrate. The composition includes an optically clear synthetic organic polymer base holding two layers, a first reflective layer supported by the low temperature plastic substrate that includes IR radiation reflecting additives, and a second layer supported by the first layer having light scattering particulate additives. The disperse dyes utilized in the invention may include additives to absorb IR radiation provided by an external IR source positioned above the disperse dyes causing the dyes to sublimate and diffuse quickly into the light scattering layer. The combination of these layers allows for diffusion of the disperse dye ink into the light scattering layer while protecting the low temperature plastic below.

摘要: A method and system are disclosed. A method of printing onto a base having an upper surface spaced from a lower surface by a base thickness includes dispensing a yarn from a nozzle of a printing system and selectively attaching the yarn to a first attachment region. The step of dispensing the yarn includes dispensing a heat-moldable material and a melt-resistant material. The step of selectively attaching the yarn to the first attachment region includes moving the nozzle into the first attachment region. The step of moving the nozzle into the first attachment region reduces the base thickness by a prodding distance. The heat-moldable material bonds to the first attachment region.
