    摘要: The present invention relates a liquid composition for frozen confection, in particular to a shelf stable composition which is suitable for making freshly prepared frozen confection. The liquid composition for frozen confection comprising 0.01 to 2% whey protein by weight based on the total composition (wt.); 0.01 to 3% wt of stabilizers, below 4.5% wt of fat, below 15% wt of sweetener, at least 25 % wt fruit, and having pH in the range from 3.5 to 4.2, preferably in the range of from 3.6 to 3.8 and solid content above 10% wt. The invention also relates to a method of production of the liquid composition and to a method of preparation of the frozen composition.

    摘要: Disclosed herein are novel assays, systems and kits for selecting a treatment regimen for a subject with depression by identifying at least one nucleic acid polymorphism, e.g., but not limited to, at the MTHFR, MTR, or MTRR locus, and/or determining expression levels of peripheral biomarkers (e.g., SAM, SAH, and 4-HNE) in a test sample from a human subject. These biomarkers can be used to determine the effectiveness of treating a depressed subject with a folate-containing compound (alone or as an adjunct to an antidepressant). Additionally, these biomarkers can be used to select an appropriate treatment regimen for subjects with treatment-resistant depression (e.g., resistant to at least one selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor). Methods and compositions for treating a subject with depression and/or determining or improving the effectiveness of an antidepressant drug taken by a subject are also provided herein.

The methods may be based on early inception (e.g., third trimester of pregnancy), anticipatory guidance (e.g., prior to an infant reaching a specific developmental stage), sequential guidance, and nutritionally and developmentally appropriate dietary and parental feeding behaviors guidance, all specifically targeting factors that have been associated with childhood obesity. The methods may use an obesity risk calculator to tailor the methods to address an individual child's risk with regard to specific modifiable factors associated with obesity. The present methods may help instill early healthy eating habits and nutritious food preferences for infants and young children, promote an appropriate early growth trajectory, and a long term weight status that is consistent with public policy recommendations and associated with long term health.

    摘要: The present invention presents a capsule 1 having an inlet face C, which is formed by a circular section 2a and a bulge section 2b extending from the circular section 2a giving the inlet face C a not symmetric in rotation. The capsule 1 further has an optically readable code 3 on a side wall 4 of a cup-shaped body of the capsule 1 opposite the bulge section 2b. The present invention further presents a beverage production machine with a capsule holder 13 for holding a capsule 1 in such a way in the beverage production machine 10, that the optically readable code can be read by a code reader 24. Liquid can be supplied to the capsule to produce a nutritional product. The present invention provides means to prevent the optically readable code 3 and the code reader 24, respectively, from being contaminated with liquid, vapor, dirt or the like. An automatic detection of the capsule type, and a corresponding automatic setting of preparation parameters by the beverage production machine 1 becomes possible, and is more reliable than state of the art solutions.
