Abstract:
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are provided. Some embodiments include maintaining, at a mobile computing device, a record associated with a print job submitted to a first printing device, the record including information for locating the first printing device and information that identifies the print job. Some embodiments include sending, from the mobile computing device to a second printing device, a message that includes the information for locating the first printing device and the information that identifies the print job, the message comprising a request to execute the print job at the second printing device. Some embodiments include receiving the message from the mobile computing device, sending a request for the print job, receiving the print job, and executing a printing operation based on the print job.
Abstract:
Exemplary method and system for providing a diffractive configuration in an optical arrangement are provided. For example, a material can be provided with at least one patterned surface having a very high aspect ratio. The material can be connected with at least one portion of a waveguide arrangement using a pre-polymer adhesive composition. Further, the pre-polymer adhesive composition can be caused to polymerize so as to form the diffractive configuration which at least approximately replicates a structure or at least one feature of the patterned surface.
Abstract:
There is provided herewith an apparatus, probe, and method for the combination of near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) and diffuse correlation spectroscopy (DCS). The apparatus, probe and method allow for the simultaneous detection of NIRS and DCS.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and computer-readable media are provided. Some embodiments include generating credentials for accessing a transmission service; sending, from a first application to a second application, the credentials and a request to perform operations related to a scan job; receiving, at the first application from the second application, credentials from the second application, and a request to access the transmission service; determining whether the credentials from the second application are valid; and in response to determining that the credentials from the second application are valid, getting a file from the second application using the transmission service; and sending the file to a destination.
Abstract:
A system and method are provided including one or more processors and one or more computer-readable media coupled to the one or more processors. The one or more computer-readable media storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operation including performing, at an image processing device, a login process wherein access to one or more resources on the image processing device is granted based on a credential associated with a user and receiving a request to perform a scan and send process is received at the image processing device, the request comprising instructions for scanning a physical document and sending an electronic document representing the scanned physical document to a destination system. The scan process is initiated and a data object including data representing job data and the credential associated with the use is generated. The send process using the generated data object is executed as a background process on the image processing device and a subsequent user is able to access the image processing device and use at least one resource of the image processing device simultaneously.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and computer-readable media are provided. Some embodiments include, after receiving at least a portion of a file at a computing system, obtaining information about the file at a first time. First information is stored in a data structure, the first information comprising information that identifies the file and the information about the file at the first time. Then, information about the file at a second time after the first time is obtained. Second information is stored in a memory of the computing system, the second information comprising information that identifies the file and the information about the file at the second time. It is determined whether the second information matches the first information. In response to determining that the second information matches the first information, the file is sent from the computing system to a predetermined destination. In some embodiments, the file comprises a facsimile communication.
Abstract:
There is provided a new apparatus, system, and method of use for laser speckle imaging that allows for omni-directional viewing. The omni-directional viewing can include a reflector and switches configured for switching the illumination on the lumenal tissue such that the light reflected from the lumenal tissue at any given time is reflected from one or more substantially non-overlapping sections of a lumenal tissue. This apparatus may be particularly useful for tissue analysis such as analysis of vulnerable plaque.
Abstract:
A sheath apparatus includes, a plurality of node rings configured to be tilted with respect to each other, each node ring defining a substantially cylindrical wall and having at least one hole passing through said cylindrical wall, the plurality of node rings being arranged next to each other along a linear axis such that consecutive node rings contact each other at a contact plane; a manipulating wire going through the holes in said stacked node rings; and a position restoring component configured to restore said stacked node rings from a tilted position to an original position, wherein said position restoring component is located inside or outside of the stacked node rings.
Abstract:
Methods, devices, and computer-readable storage media are provided. Some embodiments of the invention include an image processing device displaying on a display of the image processing device a machine-readable code, wherein information encoded in the machine-readable code is usable by a mobile computing device to establish a communication session between the mobile computing device and the image processing device. In some embodiments, the mobile computing device reads the machine-readable code, obtains the information by decoding the machine-readable code, and establishes the communication session using the information. In some embodiments, during the communication session, the image processing device receives a scan command, scans a physical document in response to the scan command, and sends an electronic document representing the scanned physical document to the mobile computing device.
Abstract:
An articulated medical device having a hollow core, wherein the device is capable of maneuvering through cavities to reach a target with minimal invasiveness, and once the medical device has reached the target, allowing a medical tool to be guided through the hollow cavity for facilitating medical procedures, including endoscopes, cameras, and catheters, at the target.
