    摘要: A system and method for measuring concentration of a constituent of a specimen are provided. The system includes an oscillator for outputting, towards the specimen, electromagnetic waves having respective different frequencies between 5 GHz and 300 GHz; a detector for detecting the electromagnetic waves that are reflected from the specimen; and a processor measuring at least one of reflection coefficient and complex permittivity of the electromagnetic waves detected and calculating the concentration of the constituent of the specimen based upon at least one of the reflection coefficient measured and the complex permittivity measured.

    摘要: A high-frequency power amplifier has an FET element having a unit FETs in multifinger form, and having a gate pad through which a signal is input, a source pad that is grounded, and a drain pad through which a signal is output. A high-frequency processing circuit includes series resonance circuits shunt-connected between the gate pads of the unit FETs and grounding ends. Two of the series resonance circuits have respective different resonance frequencies which correspond to second and higher harmonics of a frequency included in the operating frequency band of the FET element.

    摘要: The optical multiplexer/demultiplexer 100 includes a member 110 on which optical waveguides 111 to 114 and a groove 115 are formed and an optical filter 120 inserted in the groove 115. The member 110 is a planar optical waveguide where the optical waveguides 111 to 114 are formed on one surface thereof, and the groove 115 is formed thereon. Before the groove 115 is formed, the optical wave guide 111 and the optical waveguide 114 are a continuous optical waveguide; and the optical waveguide 112 and the optical waveguide 113 are a continuous optical waveguide. A straight groove 115 is formed so as to go through an intersecting point of the two continuous optical waveguides. The optical waveguides 111 and 114 are formed straightly on the member 110.

    摘要: A cascode connection circuit includes a first field effect transistor (FET) which has a source terminal and a drain terminal, the source terminal being connected to ground; a second FET which has a source terminal and a gate terminal, the source terminal being connected to the drain terminal of the first FET; and a first resistor and a first capacitor connected in series between the source terminal of the first FET and the gate terminal of the second FET. The first FET and the second FET are cascode-connected to each other. The product of the resistance of the first resistor and the capacitance of the first capacitor does not exceed 0.1 times the period of an operating frequency of the circuit.

    摘要: A dental treatment apparatus is provided with an irradiation unit, a temperature detection unit and a control unit. The irradiation unit is constituted by N number of first light emitting elements S1 to SN, N number of first focusing lenses L1 to LN, and N number of optic fibers F1 to FN, combined on a 1:1 basis, and optic fibers Fn are bundled on the output side of the irradiation unit. The first light emitting element Sn is an element which outputs laser light having a specific wavelength λ within a range of 400 nm to 420 nm. The temperature detection unit is constituted by a non-contact temperature sensor and a wire. The non-contact temperature sensor detects the temperature at a site irradiated with laser light output from an emergent end.
