摘要: An infotainment system in a vehicle includes at least one processor configured to, in response to occurrence of a trigger condition defined by an invitation from a source remote from the vehicle and identifying media content and to acceptance of the invitation, select a medium carrying the media content to play the media content. The trigger condition may be a current location of the vehicle matching a specified location, a weather condition at a current location of the vehicle matching a specified weather condition, a current speed of the vehicle exceeding a specified speed, a current date matching a specified date, or a current time of day matching a specified time of day. Alternatively, the trigger condition may be a signal indicating presence of a passenger or presence of a connection with a mobile device.

摘要: An entity includes an antenna and a processor, and the entity can form a physical network one or more other entities via the antenna and configure a virtual topology for the physical network. The entity may also determine a desired action that will result in a traffic state change that will impact travel of at least one vehicle of the physical network. The entity may determine a payment to the at least one vehicle and form a digital agreement for payment, subsequent to the impact, to the at least one vehicle. The entity may further wirelessly transfer the agreement to one of the other entities of the physical network and then wirelessly receive the agreement after transfer, having been digitally signed by any vehicles determined to be impacted. Following receiving the agreement after transfer, the entity may execute the desired action, responsive to receiving the agreement after transfer.

摘要: A ride-sharing server may receive, from a user, a vehicle-rental request including trip characteristics specifying an origin location, a destination location, and time constraints; identify another user having rental criteria matching that of the vehicle-rental request; send a rent-share request to the user and the other user to rent-share as a joint-rental group; and rent a vehicle to the joint-rental group when the rent-share request is confirmed. A mobile device of a ride-sharing user may send, to a rent-sharing server, a vehicle-rental request including trip characteristics specifying an origin location, a destination location, and time constraints; receive, from the rent-sharing server, a rent-share request to rent-share a vehicle as a joint-rental group including another user having rental criteria matching that of the vehicle-rental request; and responsive to the rent-share request, rent the vehicle as the joint-rental group.

摘要: Method and apparatus are disclosed for vehicle cabin odor detection and amelioration. An example vehicle includes an array of chemical sensors, a spectrograph, and an environmental control system. The example environmental control system generates a spectrum, with the spectrograph, of chemical components of volatilomes in air inside a cabin and classifies the volatilomes based on the spectrum, measurements from the array of chemical sensors, and occupant preferences. Additionally, the environmental control system, when the volatilomes are indicative of an offensive scent, applies a mitigation strategy to affect the composition of the air in the cabin.
