Since the inclusion of Si can suppress the deterioration of the carrier caused by the alkali metal and/or the alkaline earth metal during the use of the catalyst, the catalyst can be used over a long period.

    摘要: A two-dimensional array type detecting device of the invention is formed of a detecting side substrate, and a readout side substrate laminated together. In the detecting side substrate, a high resistivity responsive semiconductor film is laminated on a substrate through a common electrode therebetween, and semiconductor films for connection are formed for the respective sections corresponding to a two-dimensional array arrangement. Therefore, leak and expansion of carriers produced in the high resistivity responsive semiconductor are prevented in a direct conversion system, wherein light or radiation enters from a side of the glass substrate, in which the common electrode is not formed. Thus, a detecting sensitivity and space resolution can be improved. Namely, a dynamic range is large, and a crosstalk is small.

The valve timing control system 1 for the internal combustion engine 3 changes the cam phase of an intake cam 6a relative to a crankshaft 9, to thereby control the valve timing of an intake valve 4. The valve timing control system 1 fixes a desired cam phase CAINCMD at a value CAINCMDFC during an fuel cut-off, and controls a cam phase change mechanism 8 such that from a time t2 during the fuel cut-off, the cam phase is held at a value assumed at the time t2. Further, the valve timing control system 1 calculates a learned value DCALEARN of the amount of deviation of an actual cam phase CAIN based on a plurality of values of the actual cam phase CAIN detected at and after the time t2, and the constant value CAINCMDFC of the desired cam phase CAINCMD (step S5).

    摘要: There is provided a valve timing control system for an internal combustion engine, which is capable of properly setting the reference position of the cam phase by learning, and at the same time promptly establishing a learned value of the reference position when the learned value is lost, thereby accurately changing the cam phase for proper control of the valve timing of the engine. A cam phase change mechanism changes the cam phase. A reference value indicative of a reference position of the cam phase is learned at a predetermined learning speed based on the cam phase detected when the cam phase change mechanism is in a predetermined operative state, and the learned reference value (learned value) is stored in a RAM. When the loss of the learned value from the RAM is detected, a learning speed at the reference value is learned is corrected such that the learning speed is increased from the predetermined learning speed for a predetermined time period.

    摘要: An optical pickup device has a first optical system including a double lens type lens unit having a forward lens arranged facing an optical disc and a backward lens having an optical axis coincident with the forward lens. The optical pickup device also has a second optical system including an objective lens and first and second gap detection photodetectors for detecting the separation between the signal readout surface of the optical disc and the forward lens of the double lens type lens unit. The optical pickup device also includes a bobbin provided with the double lens type lens unit of the first optical system and with the objective lens of the second optical system and an electromagnetic driving unit for driving the bobbin in a first direction parallel to the optical axis of the objective lens and that of the forward lens of the double lens type lens unit and in a second direction normal to the optical axes. With the optical pickup device, the objective lens unit can be improved in operational reliability and the device in its entirety can be reduced in size.

    摘要: A multilayer coating film is provided on one side of a transparent or semitransparent glass plate to afford a golden appearance to the coated glass plate at least when viewed from the uncoated side. Essentially the multilayer coating film is made up of a TiN layer adjacent to the glass plate surface and either a Ti layer or a Cr layer which overlies the TiN layer, and the coating film is formed such that the transmittance of the coated glass plate for visible light becomes not more than 40%. Optionally, the Ti or Cr layer is overlaid with either a TiO.sub.2 film or a Cr.sub.2 O.sub.3 film. Also optionally, either a TiO.sub.2 film or a Cr.sub.2 O.sub.3 film is interposed between the TiN layer and the glass plate surface. Each layer of the multilayer coating film can be formed by sputter deposition using a relatively simple method, an the multilayer coating has good durability.
