摘要： The present invention relates to an optical fiber positioning member, such as a ferrule, used for optically coupling optical fibers to each other. The object of the present invention is to provide an optical fiber positioning member having practically sufficient mechanical strength and long-term durability, while maintaining high dimensional precision and dimensional stability. The optical fiber positioning member of the present invention comprises a resin composition containing a polyphenylene sulfide resin at a ratio in the range of 15% to 35% by weight, silica particles at a ratio in the range of 45% to 65% by weight, and silicate whiskers at a ratio in the range of 26% to 35% by weight, the resin composition containing the silica particles and the silicate whiskers at a ratio in the range of 65% to 85% by weight.

摘要： An air-fuel ratio sensor of a limit current type is used for an air-fuel ratio feedback control. When the air-fuel ratio sensor is in a semi-activated state, the air-fuel ratio sensor is driven into an electromotive force generating mode by a current externally applied thereto thereby to shift an electromotive force changing point so that an air-fuel ratio at which the electromotive force changes stepwisely is shifted from the stoichiometric ratio point to a lean zone. When the air-fuel ratio sensor is in a completely activated state, the air-fuel ratio sensor is applied with a voltage to produce a limit current varying with an air-fuel ratio so that a feedback control is performed based on the advanced control theory by using a linear current output characteristics.

摘要： A gas concentration detector comprises a plate sensor element including a sensing action and a signal output section. A flange section is formed between the sensing section and the signal output section so as to protrude in the lateral direction thereof. A cylindrical housing has an inside space for receiving the sensor element. Powder is disposed in the inside space of the cylindrical housing at a predetermined position adjacent to the flange section so that the sensor element is airtightly fixed to the housing by applying a pressing force on the powder. Furthermore, a cross-sectional area of the signal output section is larger than a cross-sectional area of the sensing section.

摘要： An oxygen sensor capable of accelerating electrochemical reactions and practically working at a low temperature comprises a solid electrolyte 5, and an outer electrode 31 and an inner electrode 32, provided on the surfaces of the solid electrolyte 5, wherein mixed conductors 11 and 12 capable of adsorbing oxygen molecules and conducting an ionization reaction are provided between the solid electrolyte 5 and the outer electrode 31 and between the solid electrolyte 5 and the inner electrode 32, respectively. The mixed conductors 11 and 12 are porous and have a higher oxygen ion conductivity than that of the solid electrolyte 5 and an electron conductivity substantially equivalent to the oxygen ion conductivity and are made of a fluorite-type oxide or a perovskite-type oxide.

摘要： A video tape recorder for recording a plurality of skewed recording tracks on a video tape includes a recording head, an auxiliary head and an erasing head mounted on a rotary body of a tape guide drum about which the tape is helically wrapped, a rotary transformer for transmitting signals to the recording head, auxiliary head and erasing head rotating with the rotary body, an erase signal generator for generating an earsing signal to be supplied to the erasing head by way of the rotary transformer, and a short circuit arrangement coupled to a signal path connected with the auxiliary head for short circuiting the latter upon applying the erasing signal form the erase signal generator to the erasing head by way of the rotary transformer.
