摘要: Provided are a radio communication system, a receiver, and a transmitter, which are capable of reducing an operation time period of a reception circuit of the receiver and achieving reduction in power consumption even if there is a clock error between the transmitter and the receiver. In a case of a conventional method illustrated in FIG. 1(A), the receiver is operated earlier by a time period (Tm), to thereby achieve synchronization before the clock error of the receiver exceeds the time period (Tm). This requires an extended reception time period for achieving clock synchronization, which therefore prevents the receiver from reducing its power consumption. In view of this, according to the present invention, as illustrated in FIG. 1(B), a synchronization signal is continuously transmitted from the transmitter a plurality of times in a short period of time, and the receiver receives only one of the continuously-transmitted synchronization signals. With this, the receiver can achieve synchronization of a reference clock by starting a reception operation earlier only by a time period (Tm′) (Tm′≦Tm).

摘要: Provided is a technology of embedding watermark data into an arbitrarily-shaped region by applying a wavelet transform. Prepared are: image data into which the watermark data is to be embedded; a shape map that defines the arbitrarily-shaped region into which the watermark data is to be embedded within the image data; and the watermark data. An SA-DWT processing unit uses the shape map to recognize a given region included in the arbitrarily-shaped region within the image data, and subjects image data in the given region to the wavelet transform. The wavelet transform causes the image data in the arbitrarily-shaped region to be divided into frequency bands, and a watermark data embedding unit embeds the watermark data into a frequency space of the image data generated by the dividing. An SA-IDWT processing unit subjects the resultant to an inverse wavelet transform, and watermark-embedded image data is generated.

摘要: A leaf panel bundling apparatus allows leaf paper to be bundled to be inserted into the apparatus from either the front or the top of the apparatus. The leaf paper bundling apparatus wraps a tape around many leafs of paper which have been stacked, uses a cutter to cut the wrapped tape and uses a thermo-adhesion head to adhere the ends of the tape to one another so as to bundle the leaf paper. A leaf paper insertion opening portion has a slit extending to a location above the front portion of the main apparatus unit and into which leaf paper can be inserted from the front or top of the apparatus. A leaf paper regulation device receives a leaf paper lower edge and a leading edge which is the edge to be located furthest from the front of the main apparatus unit after insertion. A tape supply device supplies tape to be wrapped around the periphery of the leaf paper, applies tension to and tightens the wrapped tape. A tape winding device has an arm which can hold an end of the tape fed from the tape supply device and can orbit from a standby position to wrap the tape around the leaf paper. A leaf paper holding device is also provided to facilitate the tightening of the wrapped tape and holds the leaf paper to both sides of the tape in the direction of the width of the wrapped tape.

摘要: In a vehicle automatic transmission system in which the target gear position of gear-type transmission is determined by a map calculation based on predetermined map data in response to at least a condition signal indicative of vehicle speed, the system has a detector for detecting whether or not the transmission is being operated for changing gears and the target gear position is fixed during the operation for changing gears, whereby the gear change operation can be attained in stable condition regardless of the change in the vehicle speed during the gear change operation.
